April 29, 201016 yr I have JFK O'Hare & Zurich. Like the 1st 2, am less enamoured of Zurich - I suspect that was an "early try" by the team, looking at the order of release.Thinking about getting Geneva - would any owners please give a view? Worth it? Frames ok? Detail?Hey Paul just download it and try for yourself, it allows you to use it for a certain amount of time, if it runs well you can buy it, if it brings your fps down just uninstall. That what I did with my old system, it just crippled my fps, but with my new machine they work great.
April 29, 201016 yr About $20 us bucks for two great airports plus a free Greystone. Sweet deal! You won't get Travolta, but a nice airport. How do you get Greystone?Edit: nevermind found the link on their forumslol I guess you missed my post above..oops just read that now. Thanks
April 29, 201016 yr Ian, thanks for the reminder. A "duh" moment given that I've bought some of the others this way!Now bought and paid for. Paul Skol

April 29, 201016 yr And their conversion rates must be from a different time, because they're not using curent rates, despite what they say.buy in euros and let your credit card convert. it's cheaper that way.
April 29, 201016 yr Hi,Can someone who owns either jfk, ord or las tell me what the performance hit would bewith any of these airport sceneries, before I pull my wallet.Thanks.Hi,Your system's identical to mine save that I've a 930 @4ghz - so a bit faster where it matters. But I'm running with Scenery = Ext Dense & AG = Dense.I'm getting 20 - 27 fps at JFK, with the ultralight. Some blurries at 200 feet, as you'd expect - pretty clear above 500.Naturally with e.g. the LDS 767 you're going to get a bigger hit; but to be fair, you're not going to be cruising over the whole area at a few hundred feet - you'll be landing then taxiing in slowly.Do what was recommended to me in this thread - grab it and test it for nothing. You get 5 mins before the main buildings disappear. My suspicion is that you'll be fine with, say, Scenery @ Dense, and AG at normal. There's a "popup" issue with the denser scenery that some might not like. But it's a hugely complex airport, so one can't expect it'll run like Geneva (which I've just spent nearly an hour cruising round, with solid 27fps all over:) )Hope that helps. April 29, 201016 yr Hi,Can someone who owns either jfk, ord or las tell me what the performance hit would bewith any of these airport sceneries, before I pull my wallet.Thanks.Not that bad, for large airports. Really great detail, I highly recommend them all
April 29, 201016 yr buy in euros and let your credit card convert. it's cheaper that way.About $20 bucks EACH. My fault! MSFS
April 30, 201016 yr Hi,Thanks all for the replies and help, I am in the process of using the 6 min demo version for the threeairports I listed, Klas gives me the most fps, but jfk sure is spectacular with all the heavies, and my performanceis more than adequate.Helmut My System: Intel 9700K 4.7Gz, ROG Strix Z390-E Gaming, 32 GB Corsair Vengeance 3200MHZ, Evga 3070TI 8GB, Noctua NH-D15S, Gigabyte 27" Monitor, Windows 10 64bit, 2xSamsung 500GB SSD, 1x Samsung 120GB, 1x Samsung 970, 1TB, 1TB H/D for Storage. April 30, 201016 yr Author which swiss airport is better Geneva or Zurich :(I bought Zurich last night whilst I've had Geneva for some time now. I only managed a small amount of time at Zurich last night just to see what it's like and initial impressions were good. I'll do some flying in and out of it over the weekend. I do like flying in to Geneva as I really like the approaches into the area and airport. Time will tell I guess; Geneva looks really good whatever time or season and there's always plenty of AI there to watch. FPS in FSX are locked at 30 on my machine and it tends to stay at 30 in Geneva, dipping to the late 20s if it gets busy and if i'm using the Flight 1's MD-80. FPS in Zurich were constant, again, keeping to 30 when using one of the default FSX helicopters. FSDT produce some brilliant scenery from what I've experienced with what I own and from the 'demos'. This sale is a great way of getting their packs for a knock-down price. Zurich was Adam Smith
April 30, 201016 yr I was checking out 'XPOI Geographical VFR/IFR tool' for FSX and they mention an online database. What happens if they go out of business, does the product stop working?
April 30, 201016 yr I just wish someone would produce a damn good scenery pack for Manchester (EGCC).AdamHelloWhat is wrong with this one?http://www.uk2000scenery.com/newsite/
