What are you basing your opinion on?Outside of some sound changes I would like to see and a few other niggles, I don't really have any issues.Where does the "a total waste of money" comment stem from?I would hope that if you have issues with a particular add-on, that you are sending feedback to the developer so issues can be rectified.

You need to explain the issues to offer value. Have you reported your issues to the developer? What exactly are your issues? Your post doesn't help much. If you have specific issues that you have noticed, than you should report them. If you don't report them than there is no hope of things being fixed (if they in fact need to be fixed. Your post sort of comes across as if you really aren't sure what is correct and what is not).

I have the latest update (1.2) and still there are very disturbing sound issues:1. When starting engine no. 2, the sound suddenly gets very (!) much louder.2. When applying throttle, the sound volume increases, but after a few seconds goes back to idle.I have already reported to Wilco. I wonder if I am the only one to have this bug.Michael

One thing to note is that the visual and flight models were created by Aeroplane Heaven and are excellent. The major problems (and there are still many) lie in the cockpit/avionics which were done by a separate developer. It is unfortunate that most of this product is very good and the fact that it went on the market with so many as yet unaddressed bugs is troubling.

So, you can't point out the issues? lol :( If you think the model is inaccurate, post pics and send them to the developer. If you think the prop looks wrong, post pics and send it to the developer. How hard is it to actually point out issues and report them? I have reported issues and have received responses from the devleoper 100% of the time.

I dumped a copy of the sound folder from Flight1's Pilatus into the Avanti as the original Wilco sounds are a total mess :( Any word about a fix for such a shameful set of sounds?al

Have to thank you guys around. I was up for a fast prop business thing and very interested in this Wilco release. But reading some things even after the update brought me to the understanding that I might have to wait for another one.The reviews don't show a love for details on this bird and the flight model seems to be a major downside too. Correct me on this. A shame because the model itself would have been very nice in the simulator.Good old F1 PC12 has to work some time longer on my system then, being far less advanced then the Piaggio but working fine in FSX.

They may use a similar engine but they don't sound anywhere close to similar. The Piaggio has a very distinct sound. So did the Starship (another twin turbine pusher but again another distinct sound) but once you've heard one only once you would always be able to tell that sound without even seeing it.

I used to live under the flight path of Westchester Airport KHPN and many times a P180 would come in for landing directly over my house at around 1500-2000'. I always knew instantly it was the P180 from that distinct sound and because it was my most flown plane in FS9 (for RTW) and FSX for FSEconomy (the FSD version which I adapted for FSX) I would rush outside and watch it.
