On the Guru3D site a guy has modded the driver exe file so no need to modify the inf,cant remember the thread but should be easy to find...........

Thanks for replies,definatly no virus,i have had Task Manager open and can see it,but why should Prepar3D interfere with my system when it is not turned on,as stated above no P3D on system no problem,P3Don system CPU fan going crazy and Rundll.32 loading very strange is it not?anyway cheers guys will Google some more..........

Hi am having a problem with the said file ,its always running high cpu in Task Manager when i have Prepar3D on my system,even when P3D is closed i still get high cpu,when i remove P3D off my computer everything is back to normal,hope somebody can help because this is so ffinngg annoying,Windows 8.1 is the OS.thank you

Thank you for replies,just a side note on the Guru3D site there is Quadro drivers and people claim they have fixed the Tesselation problem,try at your own risk of course.......

Just to even things up a little did another install Win8.1 plus P3d and this time everything nearly works as it says on the tin,so different am nearly happy now,just sort out the AF and AA and it may get a WOW from me,at the moment I have no tweaks should I tweak or not, does any tweak work for you,after all we are always searching for the holy grail arnt we..........Cheers

Version 2.3 not working out for me clean install of operating system and P3d,the graphics inside cockpit meaning instrument panel are Horrendous,am using N vidia EVGA 760 2gb,I7 3.4,and 8gb of ram,some people say use NI some say no,any pointers will be greatfully received,seems bit blurry also,christ knows whats happening...........Thanx for listening

When i installed P3D V2 on my computer to E: Drive the installation also put 10gb of data on my C: Drive in Program Data.is this for installation and can it be deleted. Have beeen playing around with some settings and once the bugs ironed out is going to blow Fsx etc away in my opinion. I have a few things to get round like the old 1.4 bug that the rudder always deflects one way on start up, thought that would have been fixed My Saitek Throttle quadrant keeps dipping out I didnt have Vsync for a while but reading around i just enabled Peek again in windows 8.1 everything seems ok I have a low Geforce 560 with settings not really maxed more on the low side but no stutters what so ever I have a Intel i73770 and am only using one core for some reason. If anybody has any suggestions please reply, but on the whole am pleased with the new version might actually fly more and less tweaking once things are ironed out

Funny thing JJMP is that the expansion G1000 has quite flashy strobes ah well

Got the RPM fixed uninstall Saitek drivers and reinstall all good now,no joy with lights don't like the strobes and beacon on this aircraft don't know if it is the same in the realworld but no problem cheers for reply mate

Hi guys anybody have max rpm problems at take off rpm gauge read 2100 only I think I should be getting 2500,the cirrus gets full RPM on take off so don't think its the controller any help appreciated..... Also guys does anybody know how to get the cirrus strobe effects into the C206h have tried to rename etc but to no avail,again any help appreciated........

Prepar3D works fine in Windows 8.1 would go further and say it is more fluid than before,my opinion only guys

Come on Carenado don't be lazy with the Beechcraft line of aircraft,please do a DA42 Twin Star your modelling is fantastic, think this could be another game changer from youi actually work for a company that has 5 Twin Stars could provide most things you need as in pictures etc don't hesitate to get in contact thanx for listening Carenado and if not possible a nice little Cessna 421C would suffice

Cessna 421c or a Diamond DA42NG Both would be great addons by Carenado,the DA42 is very popular with flight schools now,and if Carenado want the pictures of the aircraft only to willingly to help

Thanx for reply Jean,i looked in the App Data file and found I had 2 cfg files,deleted one and now everything ok,thank god don't have to go back to FSX,agin thanx for reply and I think this sim is going to be awesome.....

hi,guys have got 2 problems in 1.4 that I had in 1.3,firstly the rudder is hard left I tick auto rudder in the realism settings and the rudder is still hard left,secondly visibility settings don't hold it says 10 miles but in the sim is unlimited hope you guys can help don't want to go back to FSX again.........Cheers

Hi I am waiting for version 1,4 I removed 1.3 for various reasons and back to FSX,Now when I reinstall V1.4 the only change I will have made to my computer will be to go to Windows 8,no hardware changes so will I have to reactivate,Thanx
