June 16, 201015 yr Author Commercial Member Gents-Can YOUR 744 do this? For those who were wondering: The LCF flies like a plane-jane 744... They limit the crusie speed to M0.82 in order to limit buffeting at higher speeds... In a dive the airplane accelerates faster than a standard 744... Those who understand aerodynamics will understand why. :( We have some surprises for you with this one... More on those later...Has anyone got a spare starter for the WoodPigeon? We seem to have blown the one we had on hand.... Robert S. Randazzo PLEASE NOTE THAT PMDG HAS DEPARTED AVSIM You can find us at: http://forum.pmdg.com

June 16, 201015 yr Commercial Member Considering that's what the real aircraft actually is, I don't know what you're expecting. It's the same cockpit and the same performance as a loaded 400, that comes straight from Boeing. There is more to this product than just a visual model, you'll find out more in due time. That's all fine if it's the same cockpit and same performance in the real aircraft. But given what we have seen with the NGX renders, will the Dreamlifter cockpit be modelled to reflect that awesome quality or will it use the old -400 cockpit?Goran
June 16, 201015 yr Looks awesome! Took me a second to realize what it was, but I can only imagine what surprises you guys have in store with this one. Looking forward to it :) (and the 737). :(
June 16, 201015 yr Can YOUR 744 do this?It can if I land it on a short runway and run it into the perimeter fence with full right rudder on.Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
June 16, 201015 yr QUOTE (3-2-1-Now @ Jun 16 2010, 08:27 AM) Would have been nice to have had a 787.How do you suppose we do that when the real aircraft isn't even certified yet? ;)You guys did build the 747-800. :(
June 17, 201015 yr You guys did build the 747-800. :(Hahahah True! But the difference is they would be creating the plane from ground up. The 747-8 just used the -400 flight dynamics and cockpit so really it was only a visual addon.
