@waly87 & Jure:

Though i did also notice the fuel consumption of the 77L and 77W were on the low side and i was wondering what values you tweaked yours to, to get much closer to the accurate value?----------------------------------------------------------I noticed the same. Been fiddling & flying with the T7 for the whole week. I made a long flight yesterday, WSSS-KORD, distance 8,541nm, B777-200LR. Fuel consumption was 293,000lbs, which seems low for almost an 18 hour trip. For a 15 hour trip some 305,000lbs of fuel is usually burned (RL data) aboard a -200LR. I did use accelerated time, up to 16x! Maybe that's the reason? On a side note, I reduced the elevator trim effectiveness from 3 to 2 without ill effects (I don't do autoland - what's the point, LOL) and I can trim the T7 nicely now...
To make your own adjustment on fuel consumption, you could easily set and tweak the "fuel_flow_scalar" parameter on "Aircraft.cfg" to your desired value. Just try to set 0.020 notch up or down from existing value. Greater value mean more fuel will be burned.Jure, It's nice to hear that you've successfully managed the trim effectiveness. ;)And don't forget, RL Pilots do perform full autoland on a low visibility condition at the right runway (which has the CAT-III ILS).@Clutch Cargo:
Tried your merge. Looks great however I am experiencing an issue that happens with all my merge attempts. I cannot get the glass displays to light up at night (or dusk). Works fine in 2D panel just not VC. I must be doing something wrong or I have misplaced something.
Could you post the screenshot which shows your problem?Best Regards.

Ok, here's a few screenshots(hope this works, haven't uploaded in ages)(1) VC Day - all looks normal:1-777day.jpg(2) VC night - this is what I typically get. Displays light up nicely. So is it a gauge missing? An overlay missing?Clutch (bummer - can't figure out why images are not showing up? Oh well.)

Thanks, Tri! I did two more flights with the -200ER and this time fuel consumption was OK. As much as I could compare it to different sources - I am no expert! :smile:I will play with the -200LR and see what happens. It looks like I get too low consumption on that model alone..

Roger on that, Tri. We have a CAT-III ILS equipped rwy here at my home airport of LJLJ (and loads of dense fog in winter), but I try and land manually nonetheless. You know, the challenge... and since it is a simulator... :(@Clutch:Clutch, I'll post my VC section once I get back from work, you must be missing something in yours. Everything lights up nicely in my VC at night. Regards,Jure

Jure, try setting the "fuel_flow"scalar" to 1.15.My mate said his is good at 1.15 for fuel. I think it might be more real. Although ask Jack, he's good with 777-200ERs (knows alot on them)

Nandan, thanks! Will do.... :smile:Regards,Jure

Sweet as, just let me know how it goes ay here. I want to know if it's good and correct. you have to use flight time to see if correct amount of fuel is being used, can't use distance of the journey. Just letting you know.Thx

Hi Clutch Cargo,Please check the panel.cfg file. Go to the "" section in the bottom.Please look at the "night" parameter. What is the value?Best Regards.

sorry to report but it seems like the B773ER config has some serious problems. =(On my first try, after it takeoff the plane was climbing but met turbulence. The plane immediately transformed into a dolphin after hitting turbulence. (going up and down, up and down...... non-stop, although it was still climbing)On my second try, the plane took off but failed to engage VNAV, at around 18,000 feet i disengaged the autopilot to see if i could fix the problem. Immediately the plane rotated to 90 degrees and stalled. I got out of the stall, but the plane decided to make wild maneuvers all over the place, and I finally crashed after fighting the plane for a min.Please help, is there any solution?Alex(P.S. your .air file for the B773ER actually works well on the default PSS 777 though! But not with the merge, im sorry)

Thanks Jure,I copied and pasted your VC section - ha! same thing... no lights. This IS perplexing. Here's why. I did download a 777 merge from an Andrew Carmichael and his version works at least with the VC lights. But it may have other issues like the FDE and such so I was trying to stay with the "Tri" merge as most are getting great results from it. But at least I know if done correctly it does work on my PC. I also tried the master battery key press. no change. I do have the Saitek Switch Panel that has a specific Master Battery switch so I usually use that. Must be something other than the panel or aircraft cfg's. Maybe the model? Have to think about what to compare. Also switched my section to Andrew's version and see if that helped. I did change the colors but still dark gauges.Also, here's something funny. You know how you can click on a glass panel and it will enlarge into its own window in the VC? Well I do that and the gauge zooms up nicely and it is lit up at night, ha! Strange. Mmmmmm.... :(

Hi Alex,Have you correctly used the "Aircraft.cfg" parameters from the package? I think it has a problem with the autopilot section.Make sure you use the "aircraft.cfg" file from the package. After that you just need to edit the "fltsim" section.I've flown with this 773ER package and everything is fine. Is there any other guys had the same problem with the 773ER?@Clutch Cargo:I have no idea what's going wrong. Have you installed the PSS-777 patch? There is a patch, but I'm not sure it is related to this problem. But maybe you should try it.Best Regards.

Hi Jure,Nandan is correct, if you change your fuel flow scale to 1.15 it will give you a accurate fuel consuption for 200ER with trent895s fitted.

Looking forward to use this merge.Is there anyway of removing the VC on the POSKY B777, and also when in 2D Panel view, when you look sideviews, can you also get rid of the virtual side view.Thanks
