August 16, 201015 yr On 777-200ER change fuel flow to 1.15 not 1.5. I use 1.15. Burns just slightly less fuel than actual. It's better to burn a bit less fuel than too much that's my theory. But try 1.18 (I haven't tried it) and tell me if it goes fine. Otherwise go to 1.15. Or between 1.15-1.18.I haven't tested any other fuel flow scalar, only used 1.15. 777-200ER fuel flow scalar.Hope it helps.
August 16, 201015 yr Thanks Nandan. I will try it and let you know :)Hopefully will get the figures soon for 77L and 77W! :)
August 17, 201015 yr @Alex:I'm really sorry, I am out of town until next week and the file is in my home PC. Maybe some other guys here can post it in the forum. If I'm not mistaken it's just a small text file, so you'll just have to copy and paste the content.NP, I've got the plane up and running thanks to some help from the others. It works great now. Thank you sir.Alex

The 1.15 fuel flow scalar seems to work just fine on the B77L.Tested this on a flight from EGLL-YSSY about 9190nm (+ head wind and tail wind components).Total fuel consumption was 329,441lbs with a ZFW = 420,000lbs (317 pax and 37000lbs cargo).I'll try the B77W on a 7500nm route later on in the week and see what figure works best though 1.15 seems fine so far.:)

August 20, 201015 yr What is your minimum unstick speed on the -300 at MTOW+Flap 15? I'm getting something like 200kts before the wheels lift off.Edit:Same thing is happening with the -200s at MTOW.

I'm getting something like 200kts before the wheels lift off.Edit:Same thing is happening with the -200s at MTOW.Im sorry Im not sure what you mean by "upstick"???. We dont have 300ER's, they are coming in November, Im bout to start the type rating for the 300ER so if you can confirm what you mean by "upstick" ill let you know.In the real aircraft we have a EFB to calculate all our T/O data so its abit hard to compare to FS.Look forward to helping youJack
August 20, 201015 yr Im sorry Im not sure what you mean by "upstick"???.Vmu Minimum Unstick Speed. Minimum airspeed at which airplane can safely lift off ground and continue take-off. The problem is that the PSS FMC won't give you accurate speeds if modified the flight dynamics.http://il.youtube.com/watch?v=9VqG2WRe0CA

August 21, 201015 yr Jack, you said the fuel flow above 260,000kg's isn't good. Does anyone know how to fix it? Twasno, do you know how to fix the fuel flow? What table is it for fuel flow with using whatever program you used to fix it. Can you please tell us.Just tell us the program you used to edit air file and what table/graph or section you modified. And can you tell us if you could modify the section with aired.Thx
August 28, 201015 yr Has anyone made any further progress into the best fuel flow scalar settings? Also, are there any recommendations for fuel planners for the new versions? What about calculating V-speeds (since the panel is only configured for 200LR and 300ER?)thanks

August 29, 201015 yr Hello.I tried the merge that was linked here last Sunday on a trip from ENGM-OMDB with Boeing 777-300ER. Was close to the max ZFW. But when I connect the VNAV, LNAV, and finally the autopilot the aircraft started a tremendous increase of climp with 7000ft per minute! Is there any chance to improve and get the part? No B773ER with almost max ZFW and fuel closer to 7 hours and can climb with 7000ft a minute.

September 2, 201015 yr This is a really good fuel flow scalar for the 777-200ER:[GeneralEngineData]//0=Piston, 1=Jet, 2=None, 3=Helo-Turbine, 4=Rocket, 5=Turbopropengine_type = 1fuel_flow_scalar = 1.28min_throttle_limit = -0.51engine.0 = 10.0, -32.583, -10.500engine.1 = 10.0, 32.583, -10.500Make sure you change "fuel_flow_scalar" > 1.28. Apparently it works really well. Do try it and tell us how it goes!
