There ya go kiwikat, now get busy on a Songbird III paint scheme :( (fictional of course, since the last one, Songbird II, was a 310B I believe). Hey, I'm an old guy that used to watch Sky King, what can I say!Steve

I've had a few other such reports elsewhere and am looking into the issue. It's a major pain for me, because I have to keep installing/removing Acceleration and SP2 to test these things out... :(
In that case sir, I feel VERY sorry for you! I had to reinstall my whole damn laptop, windows and all, just to install FSX Gold. For some reason, proper uninstalling of FSX is impossible, and I always got the "cannot connect to authentication server". So...basically reinstalling FSX sucks, if you have to install Windows again everytime! Thanks for the hard work on the project Bill!

I've been very lucky, as I've had no issues "uninstalling SP2" and "reinstalling Acceleration..."...so far at least. I do believe I'm done my last dance now though. :(

Yes, lucky you and that wouldn't be my choice of colors but it's far from ugly IMO. According to Wickipedia the Songbird colors were Coronado Yellow, Sierra Gold and White, with a gold interior. Of course as kids we only saw shades of grey :( StevePS I'm an old guy :(

FYI: Would like for all customers to now send all their requests for support on the MilViz Cessna 310R to the MilViz website. The instructions and link are on the Flight1 purchase site. Thanks,Ken

It's really amazing to see pics of the older variants. They really are like entirely different airplanes that the 310R. Weight and balance plus flight characteristics are so different due to the straight tail, snub nose, lower horsepower, and two-bladed props.BTW: How are you fairing with the original exhaust system blowing through the rear of the nacelles? Cessna changed those later in the series due to terrible corrosion problems.Ken

Hey Ken, I tried to register there several days ago but have received no confirmation e-mail. What should I do?Thanks Steve

No mistake there. The installer would have simply overwritten the existing files anyway, so it truly makes no difference.I've had a few other such reports elsewhere and am looking into the issue. It's a major pain for me, because I have to keep installing/removing Acceleration and SP2 to test these things out... :Thinking:Try copying these two font files from the FSX ..\Fonts folder and dropping them into your ..\Windows\Fonts folder so they will register correctly:DS-DIGIB.TTFDS-DIGIT.TTF
Thanks, i'll try it this evening. The C310R is truly an excellent addon - i enjoy it a lot :(

Cheers

Yeah, i'm not sure. The owners call it the Songbird, as it looks like the Songbird paint! Colors may be off a bit, but it's close!

Be sure to email kat at milviz dot com or something like that, and ask them to authorize your account :)

Yes, they are QUITE DIFFERENT. As for the exhaust, I do not own the airplane. It is my girlfriend's dad's! They seem to be in great shape though, they baby their airplane :)

Hey,Wanted to let everyone know that this plane is GREAT, and a huge surprise from a little known company! I don't have too much time on it, but she has a great great value! Get it here for now: Flight1 ForumsA few issues I'm having that I hope people can help me with, but I still feel this is an instant buy and well worth it! I highly recommend!5. FPS seems strangely low, lower than the PMDG MD11, RealAir Duke, and A2A Cub (I list those, b/c I've flown them all a lot lately). Some stats:Win 7 64 bit Ult.FSX SP2 (No Deluxe, Gold, Acceleration)4GB Ram, 2.53 Dual Core, 512MB vid card (don't remember my stats).I've done the Camera.02 addition of the Clipping.I load from the default cessna, which has engine off, avionics on, and everything else off. Also, was this designed using the Gold Edition? Or Deluxe with Acceleration, because lately I've read that those of us using a non-acceleration SP2 setup have issues with aircraft designed solely for, or optimized with the previous. These are all the quick issues I've seen, and I'm sure they will be fixed soon, as the MilViz and Flight1 teams have excellent customer service! I will try to post pictures soon! Now go get her! Once these get sorted out, you will NOT be disappointed!
No surprise at all when you realise the panel/gauges were coded by Bill Leaming - the same guy of Eaglesoft "fame"... In fact judging from the user names in the support forum, MilViz seems to be a new "branch" of Eaglosoft... !!!Eaglesoft FSX addons rank better than only the Flight1 'Mustang' Jet on my system, and most other people's from what I've seen.Nice aircraft, don't get me wrong, but run a little like 'an old pony on Valium' (aka Zantec):(

Back with good news - those two fonts were already installed, but registering again fixed the AP and ADF :(

Cheers

Search for a post by Trisager in this thread. You have to email kat at milviz dot com, with your order number and ask for your registration to be confirmed. Apparently they have really bad spam issues.See this post: http://www.milviz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=527
