November 13, 201015 yr What about the other aircraft PMDG is developing (Dash 8Q-200 and 777) with regard to the 737 NGX "delay"?Are they absolutely depending on the release of the 737 NGX or are they progressing to some degree? Thanks,Christos
November 13, 201015 yr who mentioned a 737 delay. i have no doubt the NGX will release this year. theres still like 7 weeks left, maybe more. PMDG are planning some updates for us all. As for the T7, its in Low level development so no postbonement as its not really off and running yet. As for the DAsh i think a seperate development team is handling that.cheers Dylan Leonard
November 13, 201015 yr They have said that all of the resources are being put into the NGX. They have also said that they will announce when they enter beta. With 7 weeks left of 2010 it will be interesting to see if they actually manage to get it out by then.

The imaginary deadlines of Christmas, New Year or anyone's birthday- are imaginary- and we will not release a product that is not completed simply to satisfy someone's imaginary timeline... Robert S. November 13, 201015 yr change your website, stating 2010 release date, and all those questions will go.I highly doubt they will.I would understand all the angst if PMDG were taking pre-orders, taking deposits, but they are not. Nobody has paid for the plane, nobody has an order in for the plane, so the deadline doesn't really apply to any of us. It only applies to them, the developer. November 13, 201015 yr So, change your website, stating 2010 release dateWhy now? When Dec 31 arrives and there is no release then no doubt they will change it. Michael J.
November 13, 201015 yr So, change your website, stating 2010 release date, and all those questions will go.TomaszNo they certainly wouldn't. People are seriously just so rowdy and sensitive about the release date they clammer onto anything to have an argument. Guess what. YOU LOSE!!!. I hate the the expression "ready when ready" but it really is true. Sure they it said mid 2010 in video. Sure it says 2010 on website. But don't you think it's not out for reason. (RHETORICAL).This is really only aimed at those who have been around this forum awhile and still persist in being facetious. If I was a developer trying to be outsmarted over a products release date I would say fine, have this inferior unfinished plane with no updates possible to those with no patience. And those who do wish to wait when we actually release plane you will have a fully completed piece of awesomeness.Chow
November 14, 201015 yr They have said that all of the resources are being put into the NGX. Except those being put into the Woodpigeon. Testing the short span wings vs the long span ones is taking a little longer than PMDG planned, with all their combined computing and brain power being dedicated to the task.Cheers, Chris D I do not have a signature. Why are you reading this?
November 14, 201015 yr Robert,While I agree the questions concerning release date are tedious, I wouldn't say the new year is an "artificial" deadline. Yes, you've said that the bird will be release when done, whenever that is, but we still have the statement from the company that the plane will be released in 2010. Of course that can be changed instantly, but it is still, as of now, the only real "deadline" that is out there. I actually find the talk of the Christmas "deadline" as amusing. I'm sure downloaded software is exactly a big under the tree item. Sure, people can take their holiday bonuses and cash and spend it, but it isn't like Santa's coming with a sack full of product keys. In the meantime can you give us some indication of the specs that will need to run the ngx 737. Not having bought a PMDG productbefore ( I have bought other add on aircaft ) I would like to know if my system is going to come upto scratch. I am running a ATI 4850 512 meg and I have seen other aircraft that you have, requiring a card with 1 gig.Cheers Brett Nicholls Brett Nicholls Asus P8p67 Pro, 2500k@ 4.8 8 Gig Gskill CL8 MSI GTX 560ti 880 Mhz Antec High Current Gamer 750W Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus with 2 Arctic Cooling F2 fans REX 2 + REX overdrive PMDG NGX 737
