Christmas present

Featured Replies

Have you been naughty or nice this year?If you've been good then you can download this little Christmas present I made for you especially!http://antsairplanes/downloads/aa11YWSG.zipThe download is about 52MB in size.Inside you will find about 20sq km of photoreal ground textures around Watts Bridge Memorial airfield. Watts Bridge is about 70km NW of Brisbane, QLD Australia and as with most of my scenery I recommend that you have FTX Australia installed. The airfield itself has about 30 hangars which I've made based on photos sent to me by Patrick who hangars his airplane at Watts Bridge. There are 3 grass runways, 12/30 is a parallel runway although the northern runway is usually only used by gliders and gyros. Be sure to exit the runways between the yellow cones as there is a drainage ditch running alongside the runways.Watts Bridge is a busy little airfield/airpark with a couple of clubhouses as well as fuel available. You will notice that some of the hangars have accomodation attached. As a super duper christmas special there are two additional private airstrips included in the photoreal area and they both lie about 2km west of the airfield itself. Watch out for some pretty tricky powerline placements on the small strips.BTW if someone would like to upload this to the avsim library feel free to do so. I just can't be bothered with the system avsim uses. Finally, here are some pics:

Wow, very cool, thanks Anthony!

Wow, thank you, Anthony. Looks really great on the pictures, downloading now. Seems like I'm missing a neat little aircraft for it but as you offer the Sierra, I have one next buy in mind. :smile:Thanks for that present and a good time for you too.

Feel free to fly the Tiger Moth there. They have a Vintage Flyin at Watts each year (this years one was 29 & 30 Aug) and you'd be sure to see a Tiger Moth there.

Anthony, if one does really nice freeware and offers

to people for free, I'm not thinking about going free again but to buy some of this work. The Sierra is described as a wonderful plane in every review I found so far and looking at the features gives me this impression too. So be aware that your little diamond is on my list and although I've already bought some stuff this year, there will be at least one more GA plane. :( I just have to finish the B-52 experience and the DC-3 approaches to continue. The Duke and the Lancair would enjoy a smaller plane at their side I think.Keep up your attitude and thanks for your work on pay- and freewareJust wondering, how's that Drifter Ultralight going on?

Hi Anthony,Thank you very much for another great work!I have got all of your freeware (Tiger Moth, Sceneries), great stuff! And off course I have got your Technam Sierra, which is a must have IMO, if you are a GA fleyer! It is worth every cent!Cheers, Wolfgang

Thanks for taking the time and trouble to create this Anthony. Hope you and all your family have a great Xmas.Craig

Looks fascinating, Anthony! I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I'd always like to have Brisbane and Melbourne for next year though. :wink:Dave.

As some guys state that the Sierra is one thing to have .. I'm heading out to get her now. I trust you on this and I hope this does support the various freeware activities of Anthony a bit. I'm actually really glad that such devs exist and I have no doubt that I will enjoy this little plane.A big thumbsup on the demo option but I'll buy it right away to test your scenery. Yes, that's odd as I'm getting the same problem with IE not connecting to the download link although on the other forums I've posted the link works fine.Just go straight to http://antsairplanes.com/index.html though and you can download it from the link on that page.Thank you also to all the kind words from you fellows. It's always a pleasure to make a small contribution back into the flightsim community who have given so much.
