December 31, 201015 yr BUT leveld have said they might do a complete remake of the 767No doubt that will now become "a promise" from LDS, such is the way of FS fora :( Bill Casey
December 31, 201015 yr So long as I get my 200LR and 300ER I'm happy. I want to fly ultra long flights!! Hopefully they simulate the efb aswell. Or maybe they model the standard 200 + 300 then in the aircraft manager you can select whether you want lr er etc. Who knows but I think the 777 will be something special when it comes. Dylan Leonard

January 1, 201115 yr Oops, I did mean the LevelD 757. I was wishing for that one in 2010, but that dream will have to wait. I wish one of the Boeing's fore mentioned would be released soon. Paul Gugliotta

Far too good to your wife Ryan....Think I would do 4500 on computer then send wife away on 1500 vacation, so I could play on it....hmmm maybe thats why I not married? Regards James Carr

Also, when you build your own PC you'll need a case. I highly recommend the Antec Twelve-Hundred. Ethan Rayhorn My Office: (Taken at FL410)
January 2, 201115 yr Have to agree...home build is always a far better option, also best way to learn and understand what everything is doing. You can decide where the cash goes, depending on your usage etc. Regards James Carr

You can decide where the cash goes, depending on your usage etc.I priced out a six core, liquid system top end maxed out rig. It costs about $4000 in parts. Is there any way I buy $4000 in parts and can't get the machine running? Then what do I do? Any Long Island/New York simmers who would like to make some $$ and build my next top of the line rig? It's almost a certainty you're including things that aren't necessary if it's coming to $4000. SLI/Crossfire video cards for instance are almost completely useless in FSX. 12GB of RAM - ditto. Liquid cooling is nice but it can be a serious pain to deal with and isn't necessary at all to get the CPU to 4+GHz and FSX running well. January 2, 201115 yr What I am afraid of is buying $3,500 in parts and it doesn't work. (that's what I come up with) $1000 for Intel 970X six core, $400 for a liquid cooled case, $850 for dual GeForceGTX480 cards, $280 for a mother board, $100 for any good HD, $200 for RAM, $110 for a 1000 watt power supply, $100 for a CD/DVD, $100 for Windows 7, and I am up to $3000 already. I am sure I'll need $500 more in stuff. So yes, Alienware makes $2,000 on me. I'd offer someone $500 - $1000 to help me build the ultimate PC.Paul Gugliotta Paul Gugliotta

I tottally understand your worry, I just built my own "ulitmate pc" using almost the exact same parts you describe. That was my first ever PC build, and to be honest it only took me 2 hours taking my time. I just watched several you tube videos, on how to mount the processor etc etc. followed the instructions in the mobo's manual about where all the wires go, and away I went. Its really not rocket science at all. I goofed up a few minor things, like some of the power to some fans, and video card power, but as far as I have been told, even if you mess something up wiring wise, its not going to fry, it just wont work untill the problem is corrected. January 3, 201115 yr I too did exactly the same as Shane, just watched a load of YouTube videos and read the hardware manuals. I thought the hardest bit was the actual setup of the HDDs in the BIOS. But after a while it was easy. Gavin Price
