January 11, 201115 yr Hey Guys, dont know if it has been asked before? BUT are there are any plans for Ground Strobes for the NGX? like here seen on the video? would be sooo good to finnaly have a bird with strobes on the ground not just on the wings! thank you! Thomas D. Thomas Drost
January 11, 201115 yr that's the wing strobe.... on some flashes you can notice it's a light beam starting from the wing tip. Luca Benelli PMDG & WX Radar? read here
January 11, 201115 yr Author yeah of course i mean the strobes ON the plane, not on the ground, or what you mean :( Thomas Drost
January 11, 201115 yr What exactly do you mean by 'strobes on the ground', then?:( With kind regards, Kevin Schepers
January 11, 201115 yr I think he means will the strobes flash the ground properly, instead of full circle regardless of where the wing actually is. January 11, 201115 yr What exactly do you mean by 'strobes on the ground', then?:(I didn't see anything different in the video. The only "strobe on the ground" I saw was a strobe on the RUNWAY, not on the plane. The wing strobe (white light flashing on the wingtip), navigation lights (wingtip, red on the left, green on the right) and the reflex of the red anti-conllision light, also flashing. Everything is absolutely normal, Matheus Mafra
January 11, 201115 yr I don't think such a thing is within FSX's capabilities. Could be wrong though.Great video btw, thanks for posting
January 11, 201115 yr Author you guys see the white flash on the ground , caused by the strobes by the plane :D i want that for fsx! have seen it on fs2004 so its sure no problem for fsx i guess! ;-) like here! Thomas Drost
January 11, 201115 yr Yes, it can be done and has been done for a while now. The Lotus L-39 is a good example.
January 11, 201115 yr Author do u have an example video for the lotus where i can see them? soo it shouldnt be a problem for pmdg :) Thomas Drost
January 12, 201115 yr If you look carefully the strobe flash reflected off the ground isn't in sync with the strobe light itself flashing on and off. Frank M
January 12, 201115 yr I believe it is possible to have this effect using the outstanding A2A 3D Lights: http://www.a2asimulations.com/store/shockwavelights/ Philip Manhart :American Flag: - "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." ~ Plato
January 12, 201115 yr Commercial Member I believe it is possible to have this effect using the outstanding A2A 3D Lights: http://www.a2asimula...hockwavelights/ Don't think so... the video there only shows the strobes/beacon illuminating the plane itself, not the ground. Illuminating the ground requires invisible 3D geometry that's part of the aircraft and VC models. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
