While sorting out sounds, thanks JB by the way, is there a fix for reversers sound issue ? reverser sounds cuts off very sudden, when give slight thrust..

Also, there was no sound for recognition light switch, fuel pump switches, autopilot vertical speed up and down buttons, and auto pilot knob.. Except these, I get almost all switch and button sounds..
Recon lights correctedAP all things work nowand a LOT moreProblem was that the set I send you was for Version1.1 and not for version 1.2. I re-installed Version 1.2 and found that Realair actually used different L:Vars for a huge number of switches in Version 1.2. That is why it was working on my set-up and not on your set-up. that is what testing is all about..

I havent looked at that at all and most probably NOT in the foreseeable future.NOTE: NOTE:Final files should be available over the weekend. So far it is looking promising

Got your mail. The files are installed and will be tested tomorrow. I don´t expect any problems as the old version worked perfect. Btw. did you get these GPS zoom buttons to work?

Best regards, Steffen

As much as the turbine model reads as if it is a lot of fun to fly, the piston version is probably more in line with my speed and handling preferences so tonight I jumped in feet first and picked up this aircraft and a Reality XP GNS530W. Great to see active support in this forum from the company reps. Look forward to learning this aircraft. Oh, and looking forward to the sound pack being talked about here as well. Very nice.

Not yet, I will follow up with Rob to see what I can do.

Intention is to start next week with Piston Duke. Should be not so much of a problem as at least 80% has been done and can just be carried over from the Turbine Duke to the Piston Duke.

Thank you Johan,The new sounds are extremely well done. Good work! Once more you demonstrate your genius for such things. Let me see, what have some of them been? GPS points for OZX strips in Australia, GPS airplane tracking, GPS interface design, fixed GPS mapping and now this. What have I missed? You are a real asset to this community and I think many people appreciate it. I know I do.Kind regards,

Hey folks, I need some advise on flying turbine manually. The issue is, I found controls, aileron and elevator is too much sensitive. Especially elevator trim, only 1degree cause a nearly 500fpm difference, descend or climb does not matter. So, since last week, I simply couldn't figure out how to fly manually this bird :D I am not very experienced on flying, but I can say that I fly Katana 4x manually without pulling my hair :) I thought I should use less sensitivy in controller options, but I use same settings for Katana 4x, and its sensitivity way different than Turbine Duke. So I guess, this is something related to aircraft.cfg rather than my controller settings.I use FSUIPC direct control for aileron and elevator axis. In FSX, joystick sensitivity is at full. Hardware is Saitek pro x52.Warm Regards

I was always thinking about purchasing the Turbine Duke but never did it, mainly because of the high financial barrier of entry. And because of the huge hole in the VC between the glareshield and the window. Has that hole been fixed in the 1.2 version?

Is the price really that high? Looks normal to me when compared to other fine addon planes. But pricing always is based on the personal impression of course. On the VC hole. I must admit that I never saw that one. Can you give some more hints? :(

DUKE Turbine Cockpit sound package for the DUKE Version 1.2 is now available.(PLEASE NOTE: this will not properly work in Initial Released Turbine versions and Neither will it work in th PISTON-if you add it to older versions of Turbine duke or the PISTON DUKE you are doing it on your own accord )if you not sure about your version: open the aircraft.cfg file of the Turbine Duke and see first section were it will be displayed as Version 1.2

As you can see I have covered most and should be make a difference.Yes I know most of these sounds might not be Authentic.. Life with it.. I do not have access to a real Duke so I just added sounds as I think they might beswitchesduke-1.jpgMy Fuel Pump SWITCH sounds that I initially added, have been removed for a couple of reasons. Sorry bout that.. Maybe I can get a workaround later for these switchesYou can get the install files here. The Zip file contain all the files and a readme with instruction how to install.http://www.mediafire...4iwj5023n771zh4NOTE: PISTON DUKE VERSION----------------------------------------I will also start to compile a set for the Piston Duke Next week.THANKS-----------Two persons need to be highlighted here because without them this would not have been possible.1) Tom Aguilo who help me a lot and who did Pioneering work in this area and for his concept that I am using.2) Doug Dawson's for his freeware Sound gauge. this surely is the most important aspect because without this little gauge we would be absolutely nowhere. Also a huge THANK YOU to the couple people who initially put up their hands to help me test. Your work and effort is highly appreciated..Coban, SuperPilotV2, Rob182.... Thanks guys.!!REQUEST-------------This is freeware, but MOST important, Please do not upload to other sites and lets respect Doug Dawsons freeware gauge rights that he shared with us by making it available to all us freeware plebs trying to make a difference.

Just lift your head up a bit and maybe move a little forward. You can see it if you look over the glareshield. Pretty huge hole there. I can post a screenshot if this is allowed to show it. I haven't flown that Duke myself yet but this issue has been discussed in another forum. And I must admit that I demand perfection at that price. And a proper model/VC without holes is part of it.About the price. I - totally personally - find it grossly overpriced. The Turbine Duke pretty much would hit me with 42 Euros. That is nearly twice as much as the Katana 4x costs (and I'd say that the Katana 4x offers more in respect to system simulation) and on the level of an accusimed A2A plane (which I also think offers more). I recently bought the BF108 Taifun which costs about 2/3rds of the Duke but offers a similar level of Immersion and Detail (including engine failures etc). The NGX I purchased was 52 Euros vs. 42 the Duke would cost. That kind of demonstrates that the Duke is on the very expensive side of things (maybe realism :( as the real Turbine Duke is not cheap either?). Don't get me wrong, I'd love to get the Duke as I adore the VC and its flying performance, but to me it very expensive. 25% off the actual price would put it in a region that would be fair for what it offers. But it's completely personal opinion.

I know that hole, and always thought the smoke fills up VC when start Left Engine pass through that hole :D I don't think that the hole is a big issue because you hardly see that..But of course, I would appreciate it if there would be a fix for it. Said that, I can mention more distracting issues, like Left engine smoke on start up in VC, and Reverser sound fade. I said fade, but it doesn't fade, it just cut off, and it won't cut off till you raise thrust lever slightly..Whereas, in Airbus X, I am able to use reversers with same button, and when unpressed the button, Reversers will be off.
