December 13, 201213 yr Oh also I meant because it's not modeled into the config program. You can certainly run two GNS530's in 2D popup mode without the unlimited pack. They just won't interface with each other. I often run 430+530 and the 430 will display terrain or another page when I fly. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
January 1, 201313 yr Take Off (for me) brakes on. S L OW L Y apply power to 1000 TRQ (top two gauges). Watch ITT. On hot days, you'll have to use less TRQ as you should never cross red line on ITT. release brakes... hold on. 80 to 100 IAS, light pressure on the yoke to get airborn. (no flaps are needed BTW). Tap brakes, Gear up. Reduce prop RPM's to 2100 Reduce TRQ to 800 to 900. This will give you a good 1500 FPM climb without overspeeding. climb to preferred alt. Reduce prop RPM's to 2000 Reduce TRQ to 800 to 900. Best alt is between 28,000 and 32,000 Average TAS will be between 275 and 330. Doesn't the FAA require RVSM above 28,000? And I heard that the Duke will only hold 10,000 feet of cabin pressure to FL260. Just asking. Kdub
January 1, 201313 yr It would be nice if Realair made a patch to allow users to disable the terrible cockpit bounce effect on touchdown. I need to fly pre patch all the time. -Iain Watson-
January 2, 201313 yr Doesn't the FAA require RVSM above 28,000? And I heard that the Duke will only hold 10,000 feet of cabin pressure to FL260. Just asking RVSM starts at FL290.. but true on the 10,000 @ FL260. Not sure if cabin alt. figures in a RVSM cert. I believe RVSM depends on equipment/Avionics the plane has, along with an FAA inspection and maintenence program. I'm guessing you could still get RVSM cert. for the T-Duke with the righ equipment. TurboProps usually don't go over FL280 in heavy traffic areas like the east and west cost... but maybe they'll let her rip in the flyover states.
January 27, 201313 yr Commercial Member I copied the fs9_gps,cab from the Legacy panel folder into the Duke panel folder and now the Duke GPS topo map is really nice just like it is in the Legacy. Cheers jja Jim Allen[email protected]SkyPilot Software home of FSXAssist / P3DAssist
