Sorry My English. We're losing interest in FSX due to lack of new things. The number of people interested in FSX is decreasing.Missing news.HELLO PMDG. Message givenWill Nogueira
Well, then it's time to get a cup of tea. :(

Fspassengers is good for motivation. I too go through phases with the game, sometimes it's emersive and you forget it's flaws, other times it feels poor and you see the stutters, blurred textures, empty cities, ridiculous wind shifts and I get fed up with it and won't touch it for weeks.Chris Farrell

Hi Dexter, Do you think you could reduce your signature a tad? All it actually needs to have is your name.

Hey, will the NGX have shared cockpit? Just kidding. Deep breath.Anyway, I can understand the excitment the initial poster has about the NGX. That said, it's been made clear that it will be released... when it's done. I think it's great that the PMDG guys are devoted to releasing an aircraft that won't need patches so it doesn't explode on runup (can you even DO runups anywhere besides VATSIM?).By the way, shared cockpit is a chicken or the egg type thing. There are a number of us who fly shared pit in that other great sim, and more people would if they knew about it and had a more modern aircraft.Man, I'm so going to get hammered about this. LOL! All in good fun, and good taste. Thanks to PMDG for all their hardwork and devotion to the upcoming product. I know what it's like to work on a project for years (and years, and years, and... smile!)Dave

So far, I haven't spotted a single mention of FS9 in this thread, and that troubles me deeply. I hope this observation doesn't mean that I am in fact the last remaining dinosaur still clinging to FS9 even as it sinks inexorably beneath the sands of time, never to be seen again. If my worst fears do turn out to be true, then I resolve not to go meekly into extinction, but to put up a robust struggle that will commence with me picketing the sidewalk outside Microsoft's corporate headquarters, wearing a sandwich-board scrawled with the message " I am mad as hell, and won't take it anymore."Tony

Best regards from Tony, at the helm of the flying desk.

Would you do the same with Windows ME? Win 95?Technology evolves, operating systems evolve, and software evolves. For some reason, the flight sim community has great trouble accepting that fact, whereas it's a norm in just about every other software realm. Frustrating? Sure. Something to get upset about? Sure (money spent on add-ons for one won't likely transfer to add-ons to another). Something to blame developers for? Hardly.

i'm certainly losing interest PMDG's 737NGX., that's for sure. It's proving to be like a major case of vaporware...Rolling%20Eyes.gif
I can assure you the NGX is NOT vaporware. :(

You guys should find something to occupy your time until the new version comes out. Might I suggest Duke Nukem Forever?

"The term is like a scarlet letter hung around the neck of software developers. [...] Like any overused and abused word, vaporware has lost its meaning."—James Fawcette, "Press' Vaporgate", 1985Go read the definitions of vaporware and you'll find that none of them really fit in this case.I think we should add a new definition to the term vaporware, actually:4 - (misnomer) An accusatory term, assigned by petulant individuals attempting to affect change in a developer's release schedule.

If you're bored of FSX, go get DCS. If you already have DCS, get the JS41. If you already have that, get the A2A J3 and go enjoy the FSX back country. If you already have all that, then you already have enough and don't appreciate what you have. There are plenty of other good sims out there. Enjoy them for what they are worth.

I sure hope not.How much do these PMDG addons sell for at release? I got the 747-400X way after it came out so the price had already dropped. I'm not willing to spend twice the price of the base game on an addon...

*******, did you really just provide 2 quotes trying to attempting to establish that this title is not vaporware?I must say thats more effort from a user than i've usually seen on an online forum. You must be a lawyer.Granted i was tossing the term around very loosely in order to make a point; i didnt know i'd johnny Cochran here was going to over analyze that phrase.I'm certainly not trying to change the developers release schedule, they should release it when it's ready, however i would like a few updates here and there. There are several other pieces of software and games i'm planning on purchasing this year so i would like to know if i should even be saving up money for this or not...

I think he was kidding happy.gif I too use FS9, and it sure looks just as nice as some of the FSX pics I've seen! But I have also invested in over 5 years of addons!! And just recently the PMDG 747! :)
