Hello,Just had a flight on E190 with JetBlue from FLL to Buffalo and that was amazing, wondering if the feelthere's product will be a good choice or not.thanks guysFrank Cao

I don't have the 170 or 190 yet. As soon as they go on sale, I will get them. However, I can say that the 175 & 195 are IMHO some of the best payware jets you can buy.If your computer can handle it, then you will really enjoy them.

You can have mine, lol.Well not really, but if I was allowed to give mine away you could have it. I got the 170/190 package about a year ago, flew the 190 a few times and just didn't care for it as much as I thought I would. It does have some neat animations and the sound pack, call outs, etc., are pretty good, but it just didn't seem to be polished the way a PMDG or LDS bird is, which in all honestly is what I look for in an airliner/regional jet.One of the biggest turn offs for me was the night VC lighting and the fact that the VC is so clean looking that it looks almost plastic. Aside from those two things, I dont think there are any glaring issues which should prevent you from having a good time with it and making flights, but since I only flew mine 3 or 4 times before sending it to the recycle bin, I can't really say if there are any bugs which would prevent you from doing so.If you are interested in that particular model I am not sure you have any other choice but theirs.

I have the LD767 which is great, but I find I don't fly it much anymore as I no longer have the time to fly routes that 767 ER's fly. So a while back I saw the the 170/190's on sale and bought them on a whim, and thinking I have more time for regional flights vs long haul. Not knowing what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised by these Embraer's. They look and sound good, and I find them pretty nice on frame rates. I fly them more than my 767's. Also, although the 170/190's were not complicated to learn, it has some complex systems if you like that kind of stuff. Just my $.02

I think you should ask for the 175/195 combination since this is the second version of the product, called E-Jets V2 and is a full Feelthere product. The 170/190 thing came from Wilco too and didn't receive that much attention, for good reason, when following the reviews.I personally think that the V2 E-Jets are a great package. Nice details, fun to fly and some good atmosphere on the deck while staying at a lower price point for such detailed stuff. The avionics alone are worth a look, really much detail there and, for me, well in line with "big" names in the business. Here's a review of the older 170/190 version and here's the current one, referring to the V2 (175/195). The optics haven't changed that much, but the contents did and really make a difference there.

I had V1 back in the day and was not terribly impressed. However, with V2 it seems Feelthere has done a good job focusing on attention to detail in the virtual cockpit and it sees even their systems have been upgraded. This actually looks like a worth-while package for its pricepoint.

It's a beautiful, and even smart, woman with a wart on the end of her nose and halitosis. Find a 10-foot pole first. Seriously, both V1 and V2 have many, many awesome things about them. But then you'll discover a few nags that may end up causing you to hangar it. That's my experience, YMMV.

Hi,I have E170/190 V1 and like it very much.Beautiful model, good and complete panel and VC, and very good simulation of the (complicated) autopilot/flight guidance! And everything works correctly! Some learning is needed in the beginning (and some practice afterwards) because the Automatic Flight Control System is a bit different from the Boeing's.Two small negative points: the letters of the buttons on the 3d panel are too small and in the VC the illumation is not very good. But apart from that a very good simulation of this aircraft. To my knowledge E175/195 V2 has the headup display(Hud) and Map and Call as plus, but otherwise it is the same aircraft. Guy

Yes in most FT planes I have seen lighting in the vc sucks unfortunately .

I was about to ask that vc lighting question. The worst part is when you ask them about it, they insult and ridicule you. Last time their latest excuse was "that's how pictures on airliners.net look so we assume pilots always have the flood lights on and if you have a problem with it too bad."Unbelievable. That was the last time I was going to give them any money. What an attitude.

Check this out and smile
Sorry, didn't get the funny point in that thread. They were posting some fix for the beacon flashing in the cockpit. Fix works, nice thing. Could be implemented in the product itself of course. That's funny? I don't know.

They guy who posted before me said that over at the ft forum's they insult you and ridicule you if you ask/point out stuff. In the thread I linked you to this one poster points out that the a/c's beacon was flashing int the cockpit. The ft mod said the he was getting that in all his addons aircraft. This is funny as if there was no fix. Awf, (andrè -LVD)) turns up and suggest a fix that works. The point I'm trying to make is that they ridicule and insult others whereas they are the ones who deserve ridicule.

Ah, now I get it.They should include that fix in the installers since I had to use it too (so, thanks to Andrè) to get rid of this minor E-Jet only bug. You are right, sounds a bit odd to state that all aircraft are showing this.
