Left-clicking these options only sets them temporarily for one session. If you want to use them permanently you have to right-click them. It says so in the manual, by the way. ;)

Hmmm, looks like it will be a task to complete each session since right clicking only seems to open the "undock window/ hide menu bar" window for me? Moreover, the "Cold and Dark" status remains checked from session to session but the aircraft continues to load with systems/engine running? :(

That sounds like something else is amiss. Did you install the aircraft with admin rights and UAC off? That rights management stuff is known for messing things up.

This plane is really awesome, probably the best representation of a "training" plane I have seen yet in Flight Sim, the RXP integration is icing on the cake and makes it great for VFR/IFR operations. You can even practice your pre-flight walk-around and start-up procedures.Hat's off to Aerosoft and Mr. Felde.
