April 23, 201115 yr What are your guys' night lights like?Mine look pretty bad when it's actually night time, hard to see panel. I swear I saw some nice blue instrument lights in one of Nick C's post at aerosoft forumsUnder the throttle, there are 2 switches; "Panel & Instrument Lights" I believe they are called - flick them on.
April 23, 201115 yr I've set up a small report/wish list in the Aerosoft forums. E. g. that RXP 430 wish is included. If you want to take a look, here's the link. http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/44986-praises-reports-questions/
April 23, 201115 yr Under the throttle, there are 2 switches; "Panel & Instrument Lights" I believe they are called - flick them on.Yep, they're on - they only control the backlighting of the comm and xpndr panel.BTW, coolP, to find the "55" structural thing I just clicked the crack of the seats, right where the back of the seat meets the base | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
April 23, 201115 yr BTW, coolP, to find the "55" structural thing I just clicked the crack of the seats, right where the back of the seat meets the base Thanks, Ryan. This might sound dumb, but .. can you post a screenshot of it? Really, I'm lost when it comes to that mentioned indicator. :(
April 23, 201115 yr Here I've labeled the click spot in red. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
April 23, 201115 yr Feeling some sort of relief now. Thanks for that picture, will try on the next flight. :( Safer skies to come.
April 26, 201115 yr Now here's one for you real Katana drivers or competent simmers. What will be a good point for the usage of that Inlet Baffle. 'When it's cold' doesn't count as an answer there, too vague. ^_^And, concerning colder weather operations, what to do with that Pitot tube then?Tips, references, rw experiences? I'd appreciate your input on this one.

I'd appreciate your input on this one.I have found this on http://www.diamondaircraft.com/library/25/10/Winterization_kit.pdfIt is recommended that the baffle be installed below 14oF (-10oC) OAT. The baffle must be removed above 32oF (0oC) OAT. Kimo
April 27, 201115 yr The real gauges I understand are not backlit and many are stating it is a daylight plane.Hmm. Maybe the designer will give in.Bob Yeah I have the switch fully cranked to the right. Be sure to test at night (try midnight or something). Flying at dusk works fine as the variable knob produces enough light.Oh, my clock is pitch black. Officially retired
April 27, 201115 yr Slait,What are your system specs and how much of a cpu hit are you seeing with this plane? Could you compare the hit to another commercial plane i.e. Carenado -- Realair turbine, A2a etcBob I'm thoroughly enjoying mine! Officially retired
April 30, 201115 yr Slait,What are your system specs and how much of a cpu hit are you seeing with this plane? Could you compare the hit to another commercial plane i.e. Carenado -- Realair turbine, A2a etcBobI'm running a fairly modest system by today's standard in an Intel i7-920 overclocked to 3.8, 6GB of ram and an ATI 4890 video card. I see no real noticeable performance impact and enjoy a fluid experience in my flights so far. The extras are a real kick, and the feeling of flight is especially convincing to me. The stall horn for example seems to be represented better in this plane than in any other I own. It's worth every cent in my opinion. - Aaron
April 30, 201115 yr Anyone else having problems with the Settings page not saving your selections from flight to flight? I selected the "Cold and Dark" option and simple radios (so I can tune using my Go Flight GF166's)but each time I reload the aircraft my engines are running and radios set to realistic?
