May 14, 201115 yr Commercial Member Stupid American Idol in the US just kicked off easily the best remaining singer the other night... he was a big rock & metal guy and of course they can't allow someone like that to win. Of course though he'll go on to be the only one from this season that actually gets big - just like Chris Daughtry from a few seasons ago. Of course though he'll go on to be the only one from this season that actually gets big - just like Chris Daughtry from a few seasons ago.But American Idol doesn't go by state does it? Its kind of like the "X Factor" and the "Insert country name's got talent" and I have to agree, all the good acts seem to get kicked of in these shows, I just want Ireland to win because thats where I'm from and not because I think we're good. But thats just my taste... Rónán O Cadhain.
May 14, 201115 yr Out of curiosity, do other continents have a song contest among themselves?I don't think we do here in the US, but I could be wrong. It's not something I'd pay any attention to, so it's possible I've always missed it. I had no idea Europe had something like this until I saw this thread.
