May 20, 201115 yr I wish PMDG would just release the 737NGX then we all could start on the 'When will the 777 be released?' threads LOLGuess this will happen ALL the times any plane goes into production by PMDG but is that really a BAD thing? Just goes to show how much they are in the forefront of simulation I suppose.Anyway 20xx is a good time for release so till then I'll just wait patiently.John Ellison
May 20, 201115 yr I am waiting for all the "I cant do this", "I cant do that", "how does this work" threads to come after the NGX comes :( Brent Lewis
May 20, 201115 yr I wish PMDG would just release the 737NGX then we all could start on the 'When will the 777 be released?' threads LOL...John EllisonJohn, I've seen several posts on that subject already! It's made me chortle somewhat; haven't even got the NGX out the hanger with all the forum nonsense that has gone on around its imminent release and people have already started turning the screws for news on PMDGs next venture.I'm also enjoying the few questions I've read about Flight. Now some members of our community have elevated PMDG to the heights of an all seeing god like status that can apparently predict on software that is still in deep development. This community are a hungry bunch! Still, it provides amusement on my daily visits to the General thread.RegardsCraig Baillie
May 20, 201115 yr I have a life, thanks. I also have a passion...it's flying airplanes both real and simulated.I'm so tired of seeing the "get a life" response in here. God forbid we're passionate about something we love doing. How does that automatically translate to "you need a life?"¡Absolutamente maravilloso! +1,000,000 Ethan Rayhorn My Office: (Taken at FL410)

May 20, 201115 yr If the wider beta team does not have it yet and the NGX has been in beta for almost 2 months per Robert's statement on May 9th.I think that if the wider beta team gets sometime this next week it might be 2-3 more weeks out.Beta testers using a slew of different types of systems can always find new problems. May 20, 201115 yr Who knows really? Its all guess at this stage re release. Once it is in the wider beta stage it should be pretty painless as they themselves predict that stage to be more of install testing etc, as they are fine tuning as we speak. Their current beta team maybe bigger than we know. It is heck of alot closer than it was two years ago, that's for sure. One thing is for sure, I will by flying the hell out of it on release day and many many more days following! Maybe they will release on the aniversary of the original pmdg 737 which was 8 years ago coming up in a couple of weeks.... Simon
May 20, 201115 yr Shhhhh.. we're busy! Shhh guys, its the calm before the storm... now would you want to jinx it? :(Hey, these seemed pretty positive btw... Simon

JeffGI agree the wider beta folks are going to need to test this thing for atleast a couple solid weeks IMHO, then if their are any bugs they are going to have to go back figure them out then fix them, then test again. Plus all the little things they have to tie up like packaging up the installer etc etc, I'm pretty sure I will be wearing my speedo sipping champagne coolies by the pool before its ready, but I'm in no rush.
May 20, 201115 yr To all of those who are panicking over the lack of a substantial post from PMDG, RELAX. The I-fly guys are dealing with some issues due to releasing a product before it was 100%. I am not saying anything about the product other that what is admitted to by their staff on their forum. I am also not saying that they won't fix it or fulfill their customers needs. I am trying to point out that if you shelled out cash, and the PMDG NGX was anything but perfect, you would be miffed. PMDG says they are trying to prevent that from happening and that is why they are holding off. Just be patient and let them work. Branton Turner
May 20, 201115 yr Pi is for wimps. H-bar is where the real math begins...or ends, depends on perspectiveApples Oranges. PI is a Constant. An irrational number.H-Bar deals with the energy of Photons and the Frequency of Electronic Waves.Anyway, the Silliness will end when the product is released and we will all have something real to focus on. :( :( :( Jack Hancock Jack Hancock
May 20, 201115 yr They don't have it yet - we're really close though.Based off RSR's comments a week or more ago, they must have slipped in their timetable then if it has not gone to the beta wide team yet. Eric
May 20, 201115 yr Based off RSR's comments a week or more ago, they must have slipped in their timetable then if it has not gone to the beta wide team yet.- not sure what to believe. Not so long ago, Ryan said that they were NOT in beta yet, then a couple days later RSR made a post that stated they had been in beta for a month or so. - it really doesnt matter. We get it when its ready.
