May 24, 201115 yr Author Thinking of you Phil, will dedicate my first flight in the NGX to your good recovery......you have lots of friends here.... What airport in France should I use?Take care, Bruce.Ha ha! That sounds fun. I believe nearest for NGX will be LFBO (Toulouse) for the medical centre. R&R will be spent just north-west of LFRS (Nantes). May 24, 201115 yr All my best wishes are for you, Phil, and good luck with your surgery. We'll keep the keys of your NGX safe until you return. It's nice to see that you still keep the humour and a positive attitude despite all the dificulties. That's how it should be. Keep up with that and hope to see you back soon. Matheus Mafra
May 24, 201115 yr Hi Phil.Sorry to hear of your situation but like the rest of those on this forum, I hope all goes well for you during your surgery and in the near future. Make sure nurse Florence looks after you and like Zebedee, you spring back to good health.Kinds regardsGary Gary Buss
May 24, 201115 yr Get well soon, if the French do brain surgery as well as they build aircraft, you'll be flying again in no time. Rónán O Cadhain.

May 24, 201115 yr Phil, first, all the best for the procedure - don't worry, those doctor guys and girls know what they are doing, they're smarter than us dumb &@($* pilot types - you'll be okay.I remember when you were going in for the last lot, and that seems like a long time back now, so that's probably a good way to look at it, i.e. it'll fly by faster than an NG in a nose dive on full throttle, so you won't miss out. Sure PMDG are beavering away, but we don't know how long it'll be before the thing is out, so there is always the possibility that you won't miss the release by much, or at least not for very long, and on the plus side, if you have something to look forward to, then that very often has a good placebo effect on recovery. If it is complete bed rest and no computers but you can still read stuff, then you might be able to study some manuals instead, or if not the manuals, then try this for size: https://www.lulu.com/commerce/index.php?fBuyContent=968909That's three months of reading right there LOL. Note that the book is available in larger sizes that are a bit easier on the eye too, from here: http://www.b737.org.uk/book.htm And if not, someone can read it out to you, right?I, and I'm sure everyone else will be thinking of you and wishing you well for a speedy return back to the witty cut and thrust of 'is it out yet?' and 'will it simulate the creases on the corners of the safety briefing cards in the seat backs?' types of posts. Happy landings.Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

I'd definitely recommend it. <a href="http://www.flyaoamedia.com"><img src="http://angleofattack.s3.amazonaws.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/aoasiggy.png"/></a> Nick Collett i5 2500k @ 4.4GHz, GTX 480, 8GB Corsair 8-8-8-24, 300GB WD Velociraptor, Corsair HX850W
