July 13, 201114 yr Hi,Just wondering if its possible to add a sub-forum for Sim-Savvy. Just asking because its an expensive addon and it would be nice if purchasers & potential buyers of this scenery had a forum to discuss the product. I did purchase the addon from AVSIM about a month ago and I just purchased the 50cm upgrade. Personally I think its one incredible product and I'm looking forward to the 50cm upgrade. It would be nice if we had a forum, even if it's an unofficial Sim-Savvy forum. Thanks Former Beta Tester - (for a few companies) - As well as provide Regional Voice Set Recordings Two: AMD-9950X | One: AMD-7950X3D | Three: Asus TUF 4090s | Three: 64GB DDR5 RAM 6000mhz | Three: Cosair 1300 P/S | Three: 990Pro 2TB NVME One: Eugenius ECS2512 - 2.5 GHz Switch | Three: Ice Giant Elite CPU Coolers | Three: 75" 4K UHDTVs | One: Boeing 737NG Flight Deck

July 13, 201114 yr Commercial Member Sounds like that might be a good idea. Guess it depends on how many users would use the forum. I have not purchased it yet, but it would be nice to see comments, issues, and praises from those who own the product. By the way, I think this will be an absolutely incredible produce with the 50cm resolution. If they can figure out a way to add autogen in an automated fashion, the product would be revolutionary. July 15, 201114 yr Author Hi Ray,It would be nice if a mod stepped in. However, eight reply's in 300 views, are there that few users of the product, or is it most people can't be bothered replying and/or ask for a new forum. Maybe the Mod will step in and advise us of the next step to getting a support fourm. July 15, 201114 yr I'm wondering....Why does a support forum need to be created? To cover how to plug in the USB drive? How to add scenery layers? Maybe adjusting the LOD value in the FSX.cfg file? For those wanting a new sub-forum, have you asked Larry if he wants this done? Or if he can set up a forum on his site? (good luck Larry on that task!)Larry and I have exchanged a few emails, so I'm glad to see him have some success. We grew up about a mile or two apart from each other, but went to different high schools. Back then they didn't have Flight Simulator software or computers... :(
July 15, 201114 yr hi,I've been using Sim savvy since it was released and I enjoy it very much. I am looking forward to the 50 cm upgrade which will be fantastic. The product is very good value for money. I was a regular conrtributor to the Sim savvy forum but Larry had to shut it down because it was the target of spams. Since Avsim carries the product, a forum sub section could be a good idea. On the other hand, the software is trouble free, no specific settings are required, no bugs, installation is a piece of cake and FPS impact is nil. On the contrary it can improve FPS because autogen is not necessary, the textures are self-sufficient in my opinion. My gallery: http://s1075.photobucket.com/albums/w430/yankeegolf/

I am working on water masking for the needed areas. I am working on adding 3d scenery. I am working on a distribution system for timely upgrades. i am working on stacked scenery levels for autogen. I think there is room for a support forum. Ray When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .
