July 17, 201114 yr I am left wondering how we are to find out what a particular airline has for brake type, customizations, etc... I for one would like to mimic to the most realistic standards that Delta uses but I have no way of finding out the information I would need.IIRC, Ryan (RSR?) said that there would be some sort of selection list where you could choose "Delta" (for example) and then the options for that airline would be automatically loaded. Of course you could then alter them if you so desired. This reminds me somewhat of the , in which you can select an airline in a dropdown, and it will give you the cockpit options. Notice that I said IIRC...I could be completely wrong. Ethan Rayhorn My Office: (Taken at FL410)

I found two posts from Randazzo and another from Vin that say something about this feature:We are still implementing an "airline equipment" option that will allow you to select the equipment options by airline- but this may or may not make it into the v1.0... It will make it in a future free update if we don't complete it in the v1.0 release. On Jan 28th, 2011 at "Externalities and the NGX", post #204.We are also setting up airframe tracking for Virtual Airlines, so that they can set the options their airline "has purchased" and even have a mix of options by separating them by tail number... On October 30th, 2010 at "Any chance we'll see the SFP package for the NGX?", post #18There is a "Load Airline Options" menu item, which we did not show in this video. July 17, 201114 yr Excellent update Jane. Thanks for taking the time to give us all an over view of the the brakes and maintenance. Whilst it was brief, it was very informative.I look forward to more input from other Beta Testers.Gary Gary Buss
July 17, 201114 yr thank you for the kind words Kevin! I am glad you enjoy them!Jane, your tutorials are the reason I am a subscriber to PC Pilot.Thank You Alex Cadle

July 19, 201114 yr Commercial Member :(Shame to leave it out of an otherwise highly detailed aircraft.Best regards,Robin.
July 19, 201114 yr Robin,That's a question that's been addressed on more than one occasion. Ryan was unequivocal in his response, and I'll paraphrase: The FSX weather engine does not permit the accurate mapping of precipitation. What you get with every weather radar in FSX is a kind of "pretty color generator" that doesn't represent what's happening with the weather in the sim, and it comes at a significant frame rate cost. The shame isn't with the NGX, it's with Aces, for shortcutting their weather model.
