I hope the team doesn't mind my speculation on here, as they've not played these cards yet. But I think it's pretty easy to gather from following the forums that the -800 will be in the first release. And by easy to gather I mean painfully obvious.If that is the decision, I'm fine with it. Though I won't have an AirTran repaint. :(

PMDG is not Ariane. I cannot see them ever screwing thier customers over like Ariane did.
And still does. They still have their crazy pricing scheme where everything is ala cart but at package prices.

I think that all of the versions will be in the initial release. Now what packages/pricing options are gonna be available is anyone's guess. I don't think PMDG would spend three years to develop the best commercially available 737 simulator only to release one version of it. Also, I remember somebody asking about SWA repaints. Ryan stated that he thought it was silly not to have SWA repaints, because they are the largest 737 operator in the world. (SWA doesn't fly the -800, yet) Also, I remember Ryan saying that all versions will be available (However, he didn't say whether in the initial release or subsequent packs)

Well speculation is pointless, but......He did say to look for PMDG736 737 738 and 739 on vatsim during beta.

Can you someone remind of evidence that we have been shown the -900? Can't remember seeing it... :/

Having seen the level of detail in the AOA cockpit video I must say, if they would only include maybe just the 737/800 it would be a great deal. Love her, but I think I would even sell my grandmother for it. Just kidding.Just%20Kidding.gif

Im thinking the 800 will be the base pack from their you will have to purchase the other models for a certain price, I do not expect to get everything for 80 to 90 dollars, and if this is what it takes to get a 600 to fly like a 600 and a 700 to fly like a 700 etc etc.... then its worth its weight in gold. Plus I hope that the NGX is the cash cowCow.gif(I new this emoticon would come in handy someday) that will keep their employees focused and motivated to continue producing top of the line aircraft. Im sure PMDG are'nt aiming for the break even marker on this one, people needs to get paid for their years of hard work.

It would be extremely nice if specific repaints came with specific equipment setups, that the actual airline is using, such as type of MCP, HUD equipped or not, and all other things that are going to be configurable.Cheers!-- Jakub Szewczyk

If there is one thing the oil patch of Northern Canada has taught me, it's not to lean a particular way due to the price!!! Whatever the cost of this thing, I will buy it! However, I will have to wait two weeks until I can download it, the satellite internet at camp doesn't like downloads... :(
