We have all these great Hawaiian airports. A 717 would be great!Hopefully PMDG will throw in a few Aloha liveries for their NGX in the meantime. :)Back to the 717, soon Southwest will be adding them via Air Tran. See below:jackjda5096529967_ef306ceb2a.jpg
I never really have ever looked into the 717 before, I went to airlines.net to look at some of the pics, Wow the cockpit reminds me of another pmdg masterpiece, love that Auto Flight button. PMDG has to do this someday.

I would have thought the most obvious choice is an Airbus 320. We already have enough older Boeings. PMDG excellent 737 & soon to be released NGX.as well as 767's....both quite good products I understand,.. among others! Dash 8 (300) would also be nice..especially where I live as Australian APT'S use them quite extensively& you land them in smaller interesting airports where jets can't! After a Dash 8 the new Boeing 787 would be my 3rd in line choice The A380 obviously would be great but I think a smaller Airbus is more priority... leave it as a future project. Cheers, Stewart Thompson

I'd very much like an updated 747, but I'd also enjoy the Bombardier C-Series or maybe the Airbus A330/340

A good A320

I believe the 777 was the first aircraft add-on produced by PMDG for the "Fly!" sim--anyone else remember that? At least it was the first airplane I shelled out money for and, at the time, it was pretty cool. Now, they can finally do this bird some real justice and re-use a lot of the technology they built for the 737NGX and get it out probably in under 18 months. I think it's a cool measuring stick for just how far PMDG has come. They'll be in the skies for quite a while longer, so good logical choice for PMDG. Chris Lundberg
It was actually the third aircraft PMDG developed for Fly!. The first two being the 757 and the 767-300, in that order. It's funny, a few days ago I was reading some of the reviews of those aircraft from when they first came out, and it's truly amazing how far PMDG has come in a decade. Those aircraft were certainly advanced for their time, but they're toys compared to the latest and greatest NGX. -john rodgers

They have hinted about it a few times but nothing set in stone

The Leonardo Maddog, bar none. I still think it's the best simulated plane for FS at this moment, and only the 737NGX can change that when it gets released. Unlike many other jetliners, it's relatively old school. It is not at all an obvious plane, like the Boeing 777, yet it has the comfort of some of the automation of this plane. However, many things work very differently and will have to be set manually. Stuff like anti-ice, air conditioning... The MD-82 is for me the best combination of old school complexity and modern automation. After the Leonardo Maddog, my next favorite is the LDS767, for besides its good system simulation, it always gives good performance and is extremely reliable. Can't remember ever having problems with that plane. It just always works. I'm hoping the 737NGX will be the plane I will be flying for the coming time non-stop, though. With hopefully good performance and the very detailed system simulation we saw in the videos, coupled to a great-looking VC, plus the huge amount of operators around the world, it ought to keep me busy for a long time to come.

777 would be nice to have one similar product to the NGX simulating this AC .737/x its my current office in 08 i was type rated for both 757/767 and only got 2 years of 757 time . as of this moment my plan is to go 777 in 2012 and hopefully get out of this 737 world for sometime .
