Anyone flying it who can report on performance? I've bought the product anyway and am downloading now, but would like to hear about FPS from anyone currently using it.Regards,Justin

Unfortunately I can't get much more than 12fps and I'm averaging around 8. I do have a system that does only scrape by the minimum reqs (Core 2 Duo 3.0GHz/GTX 260 896MB) and I am using a 32 bit OS, which PMDG does warn against, so my expectation weren't high to begin with. I'm going to order Windows 7 64-bit tomorrow (since I need it anyway) and see if that improves things. If not, I will just bite the bullet and upgrade to a Sandy Bridge system. Hope this helps those with lower spec systems.

Chris,8FPS sounds very low to me, even for your specs. What other addons are running?

The introduction specifies a number of recommended setup items, including some mods to fsx.cfg - most of which I'd already done - as well as some settings to fsx. I followed them to the letter. I then flew the Tutorial 1 flight from EGKK-EHAM. Was getting 18-22 on the ground at EGKK, during setup. I then got 20's for take-off and climb-out and 30-50 during cruise. Landing saw it drop back to 20's, but it was smooth. I've only done the one flight of about an hour's duration, but thought it was very very silky. Will try EGLL or JFK later and see how it goes. This is with frames unlocked and no external limiter. Nothing very flash about my hardware, and I've only got a modest overclock, so so-far so-good! Need to stop playing and start working, however - not easy! Jeff Hunter i7-860 @ 3.52, Corsair H70, Gigabyte P55A-UD6, 8GB GSkill F3-16000CL9, Gigabyte HD 5870, Win 7 64-bit,

With the mouse cursor hidden, my FPS are between 30 and 35. Better than the "other" product. Very impressive! Q9550 @ 3.6GTX2808GB DDR2 10661680 x 1050Caviar Black

Sorry guys, I have to disagree just a tad bit. It performs great on the ground, but when I takeoff into the air, it becomes pretty laggy. In a weird way....not to say that it's AWFUL. But it's nowhere near the MD-11 performance, more towards the jetstream. Sorry to be a debby downer, it is better than I expected, but to say it is comparable to the MD-11, is a little too exaggerated. (for my machine anyway)

I am locked at 28 FPS and it is outstanding, not a single burp or stutter... I5 2500kNivida 4604GB RamWin 7 32
Maybe my settings suck, I wish I could get no burps. It is totally chill when it is on the ground, taxiing. But when it is flying, I get hiccups.

I am getting great fps. Just playing with it now. Can't figure out how to view the throttles in 2d mode yet. Reading the manual to seek my many questions. So far this aircraft is everything I hoped it would be. Great Job!
