Eyepoint on 2D PANEL

Featured Replies

Hey guys, I got a i5, 4gb and ATI 5850 1gb... MD-11 Runs fine on every scenery... BUT the VC on NGX is much lower on performance, on Latin Hub SBGR for instance, i get 15 frames... almost unplayable... SO i'm using 2D panel.. and for my surprise the Eyepoint is too low, and i can not change it... On the final approach i just can't see the runway.. Is there a workaround for that? Regards.

That´s the same issue for me. Can anyone help please ? Shift+Enter and Shift+Backspace are not working. Adenilson

I have an i5 also and the performance in the VC is quite good! 15 fps is far from unplayable! I found that the NGX is on par sometimes a little bit worse than the MD-11 in the VC, but considering the quality of the VC that is a miracle! But changing the view in the 2D panel would be appreciated!

i am not at home so i can't tell you details, but you can go into the panel.cfg and change the forwardview and basically point that down. you would have too google to see what exact entry it is or someone else can share his knowledge on that.

Hi Guys, I discovered base on a hint of pete_auau. It´s Control+Q to look down so you can better view the runway and Control+Shift+Q to look up. Let me just point out here that PMDG support are too lazy and it´s taking so much time to reply. Different than other ones. Adenilson

The PMDG support team has had the most chaotic launch day I've ever seen in my over 10 years of Flight Simming. Never before has a developer been attacked by hackers 90 seconds after launching a product. These guys spent all night awake trying to make possible for everyone to be enjoying the PMDG 737NGX today, as we all are, so I think they deserve a little break to rest, and not someone saying they are too lazy without even knowing what has happened some hours ago. Have a little patience, I'm sure they will get to your issue as soon as possible

Well Alexis, I remember some others ; one from PMDG and two from PSS... Best. Miquel Egea.

i fixed it for my panel go to the panel.CFG and change this line to this. [VIEWS]VIEW_FORWARD_WINDOWS=MAIN_PANEL,MINIPANELVIEW_FORWARD_DIR=3.0, 0.0, 0.0VIEW_FORWARD_ZOOM=0.8

That is a windows 7 problem with FSX.It is the same with the default planes in FSX. Not a PMDG problem at all. I would still love to know a fix for this ? Fred

Also worth noting that those keyboard shortcuts move the eye point up and down. They work while on the ground but not in the air !! Perfect in Vista but doesn't work in Windows 7 !!!

The team is working hheir butts off, with barely any sleep, to provide us with a long awaited add-on. And the only thing you can come up with is that they are lazy? PMDG is one of the best add-on developers in the business, and their support is outstanding! A little more respect and patience would suit you!

A day without laughter, is a day without living.

It´s Control+Q to look down so you can better view the runway and Control+Shift+Q to look up. It work in the ground and in the air. Adenilson

Thats a little out of line don't ya think? If you have enough know-how to jump into the NGX I would think you would be able to fix something that simple on your own.

Daveo, Let´s don´t lose your time with this kind of comment. Simple reply helping solve the questions. Other way no need to reply. PMDG team... Sorry for that "too lazy". My apologies. Adenilson
