August 28, 201114 yr We're not going to be getting into Airbus vs. Boeing here - this thread will be locked if it continues. I think the pilots pulling back for 4 straight minutes and ignoring the repeated stall warning callouts had a lot more to do with AF447 than the autothrottle's lack of servos. Remember too that a 737-800 was allowed to go to full idle and stall on approach with AT servos... Anyone who spends actual flying time on the flight deck would disagree with you. I am not here to post CRM but the difference between being sat in front of a personal computer reading an accident report and being in the cockpit at night in severe weather conditions at FL380 trying to recover from a stall is somehow very different, even with with a lot of recurring training.

Sorry for me being dump... But i do not get your point. What are you trying to say? BTW:1. Are you a real life pilot of a B737-200 for Lufthansa?2, Where are you from?3. September 1, 201114 yr You missed the point, didn't you? Read both post in question and you'll get it. Well...ähm.....no!Still no luck, sorry. Anyway. I changed my mind. I really really would like the B737-7MAX, B737-8MAX and B737-9MAX And i really really would like to have the Electronic Flight Bag like described in the FCOMv2 Ch10.65.3 in the NGX and oncoming B737-600/700 as an update!THAT would be nice! I know that it was mentioned they were trying to implement this into the 777, and possibly into the NGX as a SP. That post was months ago, though. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
September 2, 201114 yr I would hope for the revamped 747. Even with the latest NGX in all it's awesomeness, I still find myself drawn back to the Queen's flight deck, despite it's older textures.. As far as erganomics go, the 747-400 is my favorite airliner cockpit, everything is laid out just right. My fondness for the 747 flight deck probably is from my first payware addon being the old PSS 747 cockpit for FS2k2. Also I find the tan Boeing interiors is very inviting. Looking foward to the 777 too. If an airbus is going to be done, I would go for an A340-500. I live near Travis AFB and see many C-5s, C-17s, and KC-10s. I know PMDG doesn't do millitary, but would love to see a high quality C-5 or 17. September 2, 201114 yr i think an PMDG AIRBUS A320 NEO would be epic! after all those Boeing Planes..yeah but i know PMDG works really good together with Boeing, dont know how the contact to Airbus is! but would be nice! If you can´t read it, you can´t fly it. Real world B777F pilot

It's not that I hate airbus, I just don't think that Airbus fits with PMDG, there just isn't that connection.Look at all the other airplanes PMDG has created, all have some ties with Boeing.
September 2, 201114 yr Commercial Member For now I think PMDG will advance on the NGX platform. Which can be implemented for most, if not all, boeing variants. The groundwork has been done. Besides that - I mentioned this earlier - RSR talked about making simmers more aware what goes on behind the scenes of aviation. It looked like he was talking about some sort of program that can interact with the NGX and variants.... But that is speculation on my part. We'll hear about it in time, if plans don't shift or alter.

September 2, 201114 yr not after, but before the PMDG B777 a PMDG B747 up to NGX standards! Not sure but I think it would be much easier for them to redo the B747 since they are half-way there with all the source code for the current 747X.

September 3, 201114 yr I can only think of one aircraft that deserves the best as PMDG does it: Concorde!!! http://jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=6999543&nseq=3
