Here's a good idea for training, for those of us who own an Ipad

I transferred all the manuals I got with my amazing NGX onto my Ipad! Brilliant paperless cockpit in a jiff!!This is perfect when doing cockpit tests or tutorials or even non-normal checklists. This will do until I have enough money to invest in a printed manual happy.png

Already did that after I got it dance.gif But nevertheless great suggestion!

This is part of the electronic flight bag that the FAA is allowing some airlines to start using...iPads with all the pertinent info loaded rather than a 40lb carry-on bag...at least from what I've read.

I did the same thing but with my laptop. Then when I was finished reading manuals, i went and browsed some flash content before watching a widescreen movie! Whistle.gif Just jesting guys, put your keyboards downLove.gif

Yup, did the same. It's awesome to be able to read the manuals while in flight. Gotta have something to do during cruise! :(

Its great for reading in bed and watching flight dvds converted to avi's too! Its all I use my iPad for.....reading books, watching vids and youtube

Yes ,lying in bed reading all the manuals etc, life is changing quickly. Shannon

I've got all of my manuals for the NGX in my Nook Color. It's a great compact way to have everything at your fingertips, but I still love my printed PMDG manuals. There is just something about being able to flip back and forth in a printed manual.

Good Reader is great for the iPad to use for reading the PMDG manuals. Also, AvilaSoft EFB being displayed via Air Display makes it (iPad) great for the EFB in the cockpit...

It's the only thing I'd buy an iPad for! I have to stick to my iPhone for now though sad.png Approach plates are also good on it. I'm amazed Navigraph haven't brought out an app yet. I think they are missing a trick there...
