August 23, 201114 yr Hey all, Just installed Track IR yesterday and am loving it paired with the NGX! Really helps when you're trying to align your head with the HGS on approach. Anyways, thought I'd share a few shots with you after I did some circuits around KLAS. All was fairly well until just before touchdown when I flared too early, floated, and bounced off the runway - OOPS! Still getting used to the Track IR sensitivity... Anyways, I'm having so much fun with NGX, it's truly a joy to learn how to fly and appreciate all the hard work that went into this. Thank you PMDG Enjoy! Brandon Burkley

I've done that exact flight. I love flying into SFO, especially with FlightBeam's scenery. How do you like UTX? Any FPS impact? Brandon Burkley
August 24, 201114 yr Great pictures. Lovely scenery. Does Track IR cause much of a hit on frame rates? I'm thinking it might be time to make the investment. Many thanks. Cheers, Bruce Campion-Smith
August 24, 201114 yr TrackIR doesnt' impact at frames at all. This was said on the manual, and I have not noticed a frame drop. John Rubens
August 24, 201114 yr Nice shots Brandon! I that MS LV looks great, may have to pick that up as well! Jim Jim Wenham

August 24, 201114 yr Author Track IR is great guys. No impact on frames whatsoever, and I have been pretty nit-picky about my FPS lately trying to tweak FSX to a certain sweet spot for the NGX. I believe Track IR has its own onboard processing which explains why it doesn't impact frames at all. It also integrates seamlessly with EZCA when setup properly. Someone did a great tutorial on YouTube on how to set it all up. Literally up and running in minutes - I highly recommend it. Happy flying, Brandon Burkley
August 24, 201114 yr Just bought MS Las Vegas and MS Socal for $27. (Socal's on special right now). That's a great deal. Thank you! . Regards, Max (YSSY) i7-12700K | Corsair Vengeance LPX 64GB 3600MHz DDR4 | Gigabyte RTX4090 24Gb | Gigabyte Z690 AORUS ELITE DDR4 | Corsair HX1200 PSU

Tip: set your FMC and Overhead cameras without "TIR" and "Z". This will allow you more stability to adjust settings and pressing buttons and switches. I also found that turning off the "Roll" off on the track ir adds a bit less head movement in the cockpit. I use the MD-11 track ir profile from AoA and find that is almost perfect.
