January 16, 200422 yr Just purchased it! I made a very quick flight without even looking at the manual. It handles very well. Very nice plane all around (in my very brief experience)Looks like another terrific plane by FSD!!! My only problem is what excuse to give the boss when I call in sick tomorrow... :) ------------------------- Craig from KBUF

January 16, 200422 yr Yeah, it's real nice. I didn't read the manual or anything either, so I was wingin' it ;-)I really like their planes!Chris - Chris Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX | Intel Core i9 13900KF | Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB | 64GB DDR5 SDRAM | Corsair H100i Elite 240mm Liquid Cooling | 1TB & 2TB Samsung Gen 4 SSD | 1000 Watt Gold PSU | Windows 11 Pro | Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke | Thrustmaster TCA Captain X Airbus | Asus ROG 38" 4k IPS Monitor (PG38UQ) Asus Maximus VII Hero motherboard | Intel i7 4790k CPU | MSI GTX 970 4 GB video card | Corsair DDR3 2133 32GB SDRAM | Corsair H50 water cooler | Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD (2) | EVGA 1000 watt PSU - Retired
January 16, 200422 yr well time to dig out the credit card again :)... Iv been waiting for this one for a while
January 16, 200422 yr >Does it come with any performance charts?I am just starting to look at the documentation now, but I didn't see any performance charts. There is a detailed checklist as well as a thorough description of procedures including engine management. ------------------------- Craig from KBUF
January 16, 200422 yr what are the 'special features' as per their web site link? It states that the page will be filled out as the near completion?isnt the plane complete? CPU: Core i5-6600K 4 core (3.5GHz) - overclock to 4.3 | RAM: (1066 MHz) 16GB MOBO: ASUS Z170 Pro | GeForce GTX 1070 8GB | MONITOR: 2560 X 1440 2K
January 16, 200422 yr Oops. HTML meltdown I'm afraid. I got a whole list of web things to fix this morning. The special features are the Load Manager and the persistent damage/maintenance/cost analysis system.:-wavehttp://www.fsd-international.com/team/TD_forum_sig.gif
January 16, 200422 yr I was wondering how the frame rates are? Does it fly smoothly? With the GPS right in the 2d and virtual cockpit I was a little worried about performance. However I'm running Capt.Sim's 727 and it has been doing fine. Anyway I would like to get your performance perceptions before I buy. I looks like a really good aircraft.Capt.Mac
January 16, 200422 yr I welcome the persistent damage modeling and I love how they include a financial aspect into FS2004. I'm just wondering how you are going to "pay" for your engine servicing and your fuel. Is there some way to make money with flights? I haven't found an answer to this on their website or in their screenshots.
January 16, 200422 yr >Just purchased it! I made a very quick flight without even>looking at the manual. Oh!!-- then you mean that it is not worth buying. There are many freeware a/c that you can do that in -- if I am going to pay for an a/c , then it must have at least some sophistication.Barry

I haven't>found an answer to this on their website or in their>screenshots. It doesn't do a full economic model, it just tracks the way you fly the plane and calculates maintenance and repair costs. For the Cheyenne I was working on a spreadsheet where I took the maintenance costs and factored in fuel prices and ticket revenue. ------------------------- Craig from KBUF
January 16, 200422 yr "I'm just wondering how you are going to "pay" for your engine servicing and your fuel. Is there some way to make money with flights?"We are tabulating virtual costs for a virtual aircraft. You pay for it with virtual money. ;-)http://www.fsd-international.com/team/TD_forum_sig.gif
