Can I do KLAX to YSSY in that? LOL.gif That would be funny passing all those 747-400s on the way down to Sydney and waving at them and watching them scratching their heads in bewilderment.

Can't wait to go on holiday in one of theose... "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome on board, in a moment we'll be serving a selection of food and beverages, and if you look out of the single window on the port side of the aircraft, you will see the Somalian pirate ship we are about to commence our attack run on...'' Priceless humour,Al. Makes for raising spirits whilst awaiting this lovely warbird. Big publicity build-up in Indian Press as its Navy gears up to get these.Pity they baulked on the Typhoon...............=BAe job losses.

I have read a lot of articles about the P8-A but I haven't come across anything broaching this feature. It will be interesting as the Navy starts their 'let's make the Navy version even more unique by adding . . .' and Boeing and the usual cast of characters (Navy vendors) will blow smoke up their bellbottoms and help them complete the sentence - for a nomimal fee, of course. Anyone have a closeup of this very unique 'refueling port'? Thanks for the update Ioan. Ray

Found one. Looks like you can not only fly to Sydney to can circle the globe a time or two if desired. It will be a good exercise for the new Boeing built Air Force Tanker in the year 2020.More details. Here is where the LTs play FSX on those long, boring patrols.

Let me say it again....N A V Y!!!! When i was in the Navy I was stationed near Jacksonville NAS. I used to love watching the P3 Orions come in and out all day.OFL!
You are lucky. I was at CFB Comox, we had two CP-140 operational and when one took off, it was gone for like 36 hrs... The rest off the time, booooorrrrrinng.

Yeah...I guess I was. The real thrill was seeing them out over the water. Say what you want about fighter jocks but these guys were the best pilots in the navy.

Best regards, fly safe!
