October 16, 201114 yr Okay so I'm at EGLL using UK2000 extreme scenery for FSX. I have an i7 2600k @ 4.1Ghz, and im getting about 11fps? What the hell?! How is this possible with my setup? I use a 580GTX, 2 TB hard drive, 8GB RAM.Someone help please. I'm thinking about using the FS-GS service. FAA Multi Commercial Pilot/Flight Instructor
October 16, 201114 yr Depends on what else you are running as well, for example, I too have an i7 2600, not overclocked, but if I try running the PMDG NGX with Radar Contact, ASE, Air Hauler and FSW's EFB, plus a bunch of fancy scenery add-ons, the PMDG NGX starts falling apart and won't redraw properly in the sim (I think it is FSW's EFB which causes it, but I'm not certain of that). UK2000's scenery is usually pretty good on FPS, but you can bring any computer to its knees if you run a lot of other stuff and have traffic on high, bloom etc, etc. Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

Don't forget that you're in the middle of arguably the most densely populated airspace in the world. Have your AI set too high (or use inefficient models) and you'll see those frames just drop. Also, it's not just the AI that you can see that's being monitored by FSX; there's also plenty that you can't. Cutting to the chase, adjust your AI setting to a reasonable (< 50%) level before looking else where...
October 17, 201114 yr Forget about FS-GS, just let this script autotweak your .cfg -> www.venetubo.com/fsx.html Johan Pettersen
