October 17, 201114 yr Author I duuno why the LOC is oblique, I guess that the descending profile is safer this way (mountains) but I dunno. The LOC it is not oblique, it's straight but offset to the runway. As far as i know we still can't "write" a curved beam in the air.And it is offset because a straight in approach would be too dangerous. But that's just my opinion i didn't research any info about it. October 17, 201114 yr Have you guys tried Sion? I bought it a while back and while I haven't flown there much recently, due to too much work on, I have found it a little challenging especially in bad low vis weather. Chris Farrell

Also, do you use REX? Alfredo Terrero

October 18, 201114 yr Nice video, but I'm curious about the rattle sound as you're braking. I have never heard it before, is this a mod of yours? Curt Branch

October 18, 201114 yr Author I'm guessing AES? Airport Enhancement Services. Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkYes, AES from Aerosoft, it add among other things the sound of the front gear when it pass over the runway center lights. It's great but it is not for all the airports. Matias SorcinelliCHECK MY CHANNEL!!! - http://www.youtube.com/user/masneoquil
October 18, 201114 yr I have been trying the West DME approach to runway 08 and I have just one problem. On fsx the OEJ localiser does not strech out far enough to be captured at D20 like it says on the charts. Any ideas? P.S this is what the chart says it should look like however on fsx it only reaches D10 http://charts.vacc-austria.org/LOWI/LOWI_Approach_LOC%20DME%20West_01072011.pdf

Alfredo Terrero
October 18, 201114 yr Yes i'm using the defualt airport. I had another go, looks like i was just being stupid, i just didn't end up intercepting the localiser because I started my turn in the wrong place. However I now have a question about the NDB. How do you know when you have gone past it and you can turn to 264* ?. I never really got the hang of ADF
