I had another go, looks like i was just being stupid, i just didn't end up intercepting the localiser because I started my turn in the wrong place. However I now have a question about the NDB. How do you know when you have gone past it and you can turn to 264* ?. I never really got the hang of ADFYou know you pass it when the needle makes a 180 degree turn and points behind you. If you're talking about the Absam NDB, you can know you are flying pver it when the needle starts pointing behind you or you are also on course 068 and 4.4 DME from the OEJ localizer/DME. That explains it. Running higher LOD crashes FSX with Innsbruck. That is the only airport that does that. And Aerosoft doesn't have a slightest idea how to fix it.

How do you know when you have gone past it and you can turn to 264* ?. I never really got the hang of ADF I've done the LLZ/DME East (circling 08) when I flew LGKO - LOWI (RASTA 4A STAR). Easiest way is to add the NDB to the 'fix' page of the FMS. I usually add the AB and the INN NDBs, so you can see them on the ND display. I actually also add the OEV, and put a '/6.3 range, to serve as a quick visual reference on when to begin the visual part of the approach. Chidiebere Anyahara

I did a flight the other day, and i was cleared to land at 05. To my surprise when i start my 180° right turn i couldn't find the lead-in light at day, and i end up anywhere. I had to cancel the flight!!!I check their forum and they don't know how to make a curved lead-in light like the ones FlyTampa did on Kaitak. To SAD!! I never really got the hang of ADF Don't know with the default airport but when you look at my EDDS to LOWI movie as mentioned in the upper section of these topic and listen to the arrival briefing in part 3 and follow the flight, you will have the exact and real procedure. In short and based on the Localiser/DME East approach, Breaking out to the left at 4500ft overhead AB (ABSAM) on a heading of 229. Because you don't have the real scenery and airport it becomes a bit difficult because you have no reference point but at the earliest look at the Europa Brucke (Bridge on the left side) you have to turn to 264 for joining downwind and descent further to 3700ft... On the chart you will find "Inn" but is way to far in real life flight with an airliner...Is the Aerosoft LOWI actually up to today's standards? I ask as I think I remember it being an FS9 addon.Look at my KLM763 EDDS to LOWI movie as mentioned in the uppersection of these topic and you see all the eye candy with Innsbruck Approach for FSX. Basicly it's the same airport version as in FS9 but the surrounding area is much better and more detailed...

It's you LOD setting... we discussed this earlier with the iFly 737 Since I turned it back, I have made every week VATSIM flights on Wednesday Austria without any problem... but... only with default LOD and NO, Aerosoft have no fix for it... Sad, but true... Yes, I now am pretty much sure it's the LOD setting.But Aerosoft being incapable of fixing such things like LOWI crash, or what Matias mentioned about Madeira approach, it's quite sad.It's not even up to the VAS being used up.I will not back down from 7.5, since it looks way better than flying to one single airport. And if I ever desire flying to LOWI, I will then drop to default, if it really must be...
