Featured Replies

hey to all,i really bought this product, i am serious about it, i am just not that good with computers i am really not that guy, if some one can explain me how can i change my name, i will do that happily, just explain to me how please, and by my system is just not good enough, how about if i will reduce the settings? thanks again
You can type your name at the bottom of your posts or go to your profile settings & put it in your signature. As for your computer, I think upgrading to 4gb of memory would help the most. There is also a tweaking guide in the ngx introduction document, be sure to follow it and make the recommended changes.

OK. I just like BA livery. I'm not really all that into history and company background thing...

He does not have enough RAM to run the NGX, I would recommend 4-6 GB's of ram as well as a 64-Bit Operating SystemTo change your signature click on the link below.http://forum.avsim.net/index.php?app=core&module=usercp&tab=core&area=signature

You stated you have 2Gb RAM in your computer, but the minimum listed spec for the NGX is 2Gb of RAM and 4Gb of RAM if running any other add-ons, so you are right on the ragged edge of having an acceptable computer to run the NGX, it will probably do it if you drop the settings in FSX, but more RAM is probably what you need and that is almost certainly the issue. You could try reducing autogen & traffic, but you'll will probably still need more memory.

FWIW, since no one really wants to help you, I'll give it a try. I had the same problem with a computer much more powerful than what you have. I am forced to run WinXP 32 bit as my primary OS on this rig. I could not make the NG run properly. I set the rig up to dual boot with Win7 64 bit, and the program runs fine under the 64 bit OS. I would recommend that you have at least 4GB of RAM overall, and either reformat with Win7 64 bit, or go buy a cheap 500GB hard drive and set up a dual boot system. No it's not the most elegant solution, but it does work.

oh sir, and if you can tell me if you used to get the memory error every time you exit the fsx when ngx was used? thanks!
