Just like FS04 is an add-on for FS2002 and FSX is an add-on for FS04.
I bet your bottom dollar that 'the rest of he world' won't be rendered to the same standard as the promo pics that they release!
You win a dollar just like there are high detail areas in FS04 and FSX.

Exactly! Jim, I think you cracked the code. :)

Show us an African airport, or a Russian one, or a Spanish one, or anywhere else where FS9 and FS10 used generic textures. Showing us this would really illustrate what has changed.Screw Hawaii. I have a work colleague from there who assures me it is very nice, but if it is so nice, what the hell are they doing in London? I've never been to Hawaii in either FSX or FS9, and I've no desire to go there in Flight either. If it exists, then show us ANYWHERE other than Hawaii. This is one occasion where I would be happy to see Birmingham, and it's not often you can say that.Al

Chock....I don't have a pic of any of those areas but ......"Get ready, it's coming!!" ...."We are working on it!!"..."Oh man...it is going to be great!!" "All you have to do is fill in the following words....______ of _______ to win a copy of the program that we are trying to release!! "We will tell you more later!!" "Just shut up already!!...We will tell you when to send us money...that is all you dummies need to know!.Flight Sim Marketing 101...."Hey Boss I have an Idea.....Let's ###### off every person out there with our marketing and then see if there is anyone left who is stupid enough to still spend their money with us!!"

You'll buy Flight the first day it is released and you know it!

Just curious - really - as to what makes so many people feel Hawaii is the only thing that will be included...Because that's all they've shown? So?Maybe it will be - though I happen to feel that they're using that area as a testbed for their procedural and custom content. I also think they're much further away from delivery than anyone wants to think is the case.I'm not usually so optimistic, but I'm hard pressed to believe that they'd be allowed to carry on with a project that only takes place in one area when, essentially, its entire customer base expects far more.

Yes, that is very possible. If the product is good then I will. Not the point at all!! It is the attitudes that I have problems with. I am just a crusty old guy who has be lied to by some of the best in the world. LOL!! When someone says that they have a secret and they can't tell you, then they are really saying, I have a weakness in my character that makes me want to feel more important than you.

What would you like to see or know in the November update? Who knows, maybe they will grant somebody's wish.

I don't think it snows in Hawaii. Sorry, but I could not resist. LOL.gif

Well it does snow on Mauna Loa, Mauna Kea and Haleakala. So we'll have to see even more of Hawaii I guess. LOL.gif

I don't think it will be Hawaii only. They said something about retaining the full fidelity of the simulation. In my opinion not having the whole world as standard scenery would clearly limit the fidelity of the simulation (or maybe my English is not good enough to fully understand the meaning of term).I would like to see any new feature that adds to realism and is not just a visual improvement. A picture of a warm front or an overcast stratos sky would really be nice.

"When someone says that they have a secret and they can't tell you, then they are really saying, I have a weakness in my character that makes me want to feel more important than you."Who said they have a secret?Come on.

All I want to see is a big jet - preferably a 787.

Well with previous releases they've shown us other parts of the world. Unless this is a new marketing strategy I'm going to keep thinking Hawaii only... If the rest of the world looks that good we're in for a treat.
