Guys, I'm as interested in the Sdk as any of you, and I have been since day 1 (home cockpit, hardware compatibility,...). But clearly there is nothing we can do but wait patiently. It has always been clear that PMDG would release the Sdk when they feel they are ready, as they have ever done with every of their wonderful products. And it has also been clear that any attempt at influencing them, forcing them,... was inevitably destined not only to fail but to slow the obtention of the desired result.So let's just hope they will be able to release the Sdk (no definitive legal issue that would totally prevent them from releasing it) and in the meantime enjoy the NGX as it is, and the other planes as well.

Has PMDG ever released an SDK? If not then what incentive do they have now? I'm just waiting on the official statement of the SDK release has been cancelled.

The reason they probably have not shared anything is cause they do not know when it is going to be resolved themselves. RSR and Ryan have always said when there is something new share we will be the first to know.

Is is quite simple. If PMDG should publish no SDK, no matter for whatever reason, the NGX was the last product I ever bought from PMDG. If everyone would think, write and do so here - tomorrow would be the SDK released.

I really wish the author of FS2CREW would come on here and tell you that it won't be released until summer of 2012 regardless of when the SDK comes out. That would take the pressure off PMDG. Learn the art of patience.Nothing is more annoying than somebody who has to have everything now and thinks that it is owed to them. Hate to break it to ya but the real world doesn't work that way, so your just gonna have to wait until they are good and ready, just like the rest of us.

It's just short for Software Development Kit... how can anyone claim to own that? And if he has the copyright for that hundreds of SDKs are ind trouble... )Anyways, my thread was not to pressure PMDG. I know good things are in the making, waiting for the NGX was a pain, but it was worth the wait. But that doesn't make the wait any more fun - so information to your customers is important. I only got news of why we wait for the SDK when I asked here... so again, no pressure to release, but pressure to inform...So... anyone pressuring mr. Tisma to get off our backs? :)(if indeed he is to blame)

You obviously have no interest in the SDK or what's going on to get it released, so why even contribute to the thread. Hate to break it to you, but FS2crew is not the only benefit to having athe SDK.
