December 7, 201114 yr So we finally know what the picture some time ago showed. :( Looking forward to it. But well, i think it´ll be a very big package to download, so it`ll take ages to get it down. Best regards, Steffen Fight time: NGX 737-700: 37,0h; -800: 47,2h

When Flight SDK is available we will work on that as well. http://forum.avsim.net/topic/355458-active-sky-2012-announcement/page__p__2180300#entry2180300I bet this is great news for a lot of people. December 8, 201114 yr My quetion for the Active Sky developer is, this.Aside from the new textures, interface etc.....will the AS 2012 offered anything new to the actual weathere simulation. I have had almost every version of Active Sky and I am a die hard fan of it, I consider it essential to my FS hobby, however I do own REX and I am very happy with it, but is there something in this new product for somebody that doesn't need textures or should I just stick with ASE? December 9, 201114 yr Ron, if you want to talk to the guys at HiFi, you should use their forum. It's hosted right here, at AVSIM. http://forum.avsim.net/forum/171-hifi-simulation-software-support/ Matheus Mafra

Do not stick with ASE.. buying the new product is the way to go.
December 9, 201114 yr what an interesting question .... on behalf of all developers, yes you need to buy our new product. Do not stick with ASE.. buying the new product is the way to go.Not necessarily. Since HiFi will continue to provide full support for ASE, there's no immediate need to switch to AS2012. Currently, we have ASE, but many people still prefer to use ASX, for example.Ron, from what I read about AS2012, there are improvements, upgrades and new functions added to AS2012. You have just to analize whether they'll make such a big difference for you, so that you'll have to get AS2012 ASAP, or if you can wait a bit more. ASE will still be supported by it's developers. Essenciatly, the brand new Active Sky will just add textures. If you feel you can live without them by now, stick with ASE for a while. Matheus Mafra
December 26, 201114 yr It would be great if HiFi staff could integrate a weather radar with NGX's Nav display.Teo Halfen Teo Halfen
December 26, 201114 yr You can place the X Gauge anywhere you want. There will never be a true weather radar for FSX.PMDG has already stated their thoughts about weather radars.
