Yes, I would like to see you go away because all you do is whine. You seem very bitter about X-Plane at the moment, and I really think it would do you some good to take a break and come back when there's a version more to your liking.

Well my mu2 is-I was told to wait for an update which i more than willing to do-my dutchess was bunk-till some how Clairvoyantly I was told I should have gone somewhere to find the info-and now it is working.Every freeware scenery update is broken-except St. Thomas and koma-they give an error message but still seem to run-the others crash the sim. My f33a I purchased two weeks ago is still not right and a big purchase-the g1000 is not working at all.Do we do the see no evil,see no evil hear no evil thing or admit there are some problems.I am patient and willing to wait-some may not be...

Hi GeofA,May I ask what problems you are having with Carenado's F33 Bonanza? I ask because mine seems to work well in ver. 10, but perhaps I am not looking in the right places. So far I am happy with it.I don't have any payware scenery as I usually only fly in the Oklahoma and Southwest areas, and no one wants to make scenery for those areas, nothing of much interest except to those who inhabit those areas. :-)

No see-sawing at all. I run out of paitience of those that can't seem to admit the problems and there are many.

Hi Geof,I don't know why, but my F33 seems to be fixed. The only thing I can see I did was to change the livery. When I did, everything was normal again. The position lights are back in their correct place and the prop has the correct animation. We're both on the same beta, so that was not the fix. It's weird.

I have stated why it was found in the manner it was rather than the conventional e-mail method this time around just so you understand what was up.As for the MU-2, this falls under the topic of discussion right here. That said, there's a wonderful update coming out for this aircraft which we hope to release by the end of December. Everyone is perfectly willing to admit there are problems. Everyone is also willing to be fair and point out that Laminar acknowledges such problems, and is (thankfully) working with everyone to fix such problems. It's admirable in my opinion, but I don't expect everyone to agree!

Being an X-Plane USER in the past you should KNOW this is how they operate, whether you think it's good or bad.And I stand by my statement that your see-sawing.Actually, you need to complain to Carenado if your plane isn't to your liking.

I've honestly not seen anybody deny that XP10 has problems that need to be addressed. I think the difference is whether or not those outstanding issues affect your enjoyment and to what extent.

I'm not inaccurate, your complaining about people not "owning up" to what's wrong, check out Ben's blog and see what's happening.Also your complaining about a plane that you bought for XP9 and it does work in XPX, like I said go to Carenado's support forum and tell them your problems.I find it interesting that all of a sudden your complaining about things that have been addressed from the get-go.

Well I am going to mention a tale of the last couple weeks.I bought the Carenado f33a a few weeks ago-because I read that any 9.6 aircraft would be compatable with xplane 10 by Goron (a developer) and the Carenado website states it is good for 9.6 and above.When I reported that there were some problems with the aircraft in xplane 10 (not show stopping but still problems) the first statement was:How can you expect something from a previous sim work in the new one?Then it was modified to-it states 9.6 or above but anyone would know that doesn't apply to 10Then that was modified to-well "compatible is a semantic term-it really is compatable even though it isn't"..and then finally a link was provided from Laminar stating there was a problem that would be fixed in time that is in the sim itself.Now the whole time-I was told it was a problem with my perception.Imho-it would have been a lot better just to admit something was broken, and would be fixed. The threads are here to read in all their glory.Last night was really the last straw for me with this attitude.Goron posted what wonderful aircraft are available for xplane. Since I am a purchaser of his aircraft (which by the way is one of the stellar aircraft for xp) and had not been able to get it to work in xplane 10 (or 9 even-I did write x-avaition a few weeks ago and got good support then), this seemed a perfect place to inform him of that.Cameron-who runs the xplane site that sells xplane stuff (and I have invested a couple hundred there), pops up and first says he is surprised I would ask for support on this forum (gee the guy that made the plane is only here in the post above).Then he points to a thread on his website for a fix (which I appreciate) but then tells me someone as smart as me (was that a compliment?) should have known this, and it is really simple, and over and out.These are the problems I see with xplane-not xplane itself.Now I am told I am seesawing? Still another example imho...and when someone comes on-states they tried the demo, flew in their hometown of Las Vegas and were very disapointed-I think it would be much better to say-yes cities in xplane right now are barren and not appealing-hopefully this will be fixed somehow in the future. Instead we get "plausable world", and accusations that the person is biased or an fsx ######.Again-not helpful to xplane at all in my opinion.... when someone comes on and asks about atc-I think a statement of it is really primative and not a strong point of the simulation right now would be an honest statement. Perhaps a emphasis of what xplane is good at-no blurries, good fps with full scenery going and great weather effects might be pointed out instead of acting like the poster suffers from dementia....and as someone who has been posting screenshots, videos, and raving about the good parts of xplane 10 I find this, and now being told I am see-sawing or or the implication that I have gone to the dark side or am negative, is also not helpful for xplane. Forgive me, but you (not necessarily you in particular) can't have it both ways !On one hand, it is claimed (again, not necesarily by you) that "those problems were in the past" and also claim that "Being an X-Plane USER in the past you should KNOW this is how they operate..."WHICH IS IT ?

As to Geofa's see-sawing, I totally disagree. I don't know Geofa personallly, nor have I ever had any contact with him except thru the posts and moderartion he has conducted and achieved so masterfully in these sometimes volatile forums. He almost always, if not always, has come off as one of the most forgiving, tolerant and accepting of individuals and a treasure to AVSIM. He should be given appropriate respect, admiration and recognitiontion for his efforts.So, when he counters a viewpoint or opinion or loses his cool somewhat, THERE APPEARS TO BE VERY GOOD JUSTIFICATION FOR IT, NO MATTER HOW SUBJECTIVE IT MAY BE TO OTHERS ! AND YOU HAD BETTER LISTEN TO WHAT HE SAYS. Laminar, some of the diehard and sometimes blinded X-plane proponents could learn a thing or two from him.

Have a question here :If a developer has sold his/her aircraft creation for v9 and limits his compatibility claim thru the v9.xx run, and Laminar claims compatibility of v9 with v10 addons, whether aircraft, scenery, plugins or miscellaneous items, accessories or tools and the developers aircraft does not work or work as well as in v10 as it did in v9, who should be held responsible, the aircraft developer or Laminar ?As you can see thru all my posts, the common thread that runs thru most of them is one of my main beefs and that is the compatibility claims made.
