Weather Radar

Only if you can develop a system where weather matches what the returns show me will I concede that it's worth my time, or any serious simmer's for that matter.
..which is exactly the type of solution that Kevin described. Fantastic, we all agree! :(

...yet nobody has developed said solution.Theory is all well and good, but again, unless someone has something ready to put in my plane now, it's not worth my time or any argument. PMDG's stance is known. I'd support them on that stance until someone shows up with a breakthrough, and I'd argue that their time is better spent on continuing to give us aircraft, and that weather-related task be sent out to the weather-related developers.

As would I. But since it is inherintly a layer on the ND, that would probably require PMDG to do more coding to keep it from interfereing with the existing display. Not to mention, I don't think the graphic representation of the RXP Weather Radar is the same as what you would find in the actual NG.But I'm not too sure on all the above points.JB

I feel that all flight sim involves some element of imagination. Why is it so bad to imagine that there is severe turbulence etc.. inside those red cells?
