NGX Code Style

PMDG,I have a few questions for you regarding the code structure for the NGX:What code language was it written in?What .Net Framework version did you use to compile it?What Operating System (including system architecture) and version of Visual Studio was used to write it.I personally am partial to C# and .Net 4, however, the compatibility is a little less forgiving when writing for a 5 year old program.

LOL...I have some answers for you...1. Why would you care and what does it matter? If you were that clever you could work it out very quickly.2. Another dumb question...If you are that sure it is dotNet then why did you ask question 1?3. What does it matter...and see answer 2. Why again are you assuming Visual Studio?Don't expect any commercial information out of PMDG regarding what they work on or how they do business. If you want to make it in the software development business, this is not the way to do things. Immediately I now know that TFDi is a single person bedroom effort at best. You need to stay low until you have tangible products to sell otherwise it makes you look like a wannabee.Andrew Vincent

PMDG have said (Ryan or RSR) that the NGX was totally written in C++ and it does not use or need any .net framework stuff. My guess is it was using the very latest version of Visual Studio.Fred.

I would add to the list of questions:What did the programmers eat more of while coding, Hot Pockets or Gamer Grub?

Single person bedroom effort? What website are you looking at? Have you bothered to look at the Team page on the TFDi website? I don't see one person's name listed. I see many. Read up on the facts before making such ridiculous claims. Collin asked a simple question. There is no need for such a rude reply.

I will start with this: @RYR738, thank you. That was all I wanted.@Haito - your attitude quite irritates me - I wasn't looking for any detailed information, just a reference point to grow my own personal knowledge, and it has really nothing to do with the project my company is developing, as I am not the programmer for it. In response to your misguided comment - as our 3D modeler just said, there many names listed (http://tfdidesign.com/team).

@ AndrewWhy the hostility? Jealousy? I bet he's doing a lot more @ his age than you were. Or are you not there yet? Totally unnecessary. I have TFDi software and it's very good. Back Off.@ CollinIf you are going to continue in the Software Development business, I'm afraid you're going to have to deal with aholes like this. Ignore the idiots.

In reading this thread, I felt the same as the others who responded nicely; however, your reply is very immature and that reflects on your employer, which in turn only serves to strengthen the rude individuals statements...
