January 6, 201214 yr First off I've had a Microsoft force feedback for so many years and always like it so I was sad when 2 weeks before Christmas it broke. So I went down to PC World and got a CYBORG Fly 5 which I soon found out was also broke, well as long as you didn't want to go left it was ok. So back to PC World and changed for a X52 which at first seemed good but after a week I hated the thing, the stick would jam really hard and bang when it slipped which made flying really painful. So of I went back to PC World and got my money back and decided to give up it was Christmas after all. After Christmas I decided to look again and went ahead I purchased a Logitech G940 and was looking forward to having another Force Feedback stick I got it 2 days ago and was very pleased to get it up and running and since then I've spent hours upon hours not playing games no trying to get to work because the one thing that don't work on my nice new force feedback stick is the force feedback :( So i most likely I'm gonna have to send it back to the online retailer which will cost and I still have no controller and this is why a hate buying stuff.rant over bed timegoodnight
January 6, 201214 yr There's still no beating a Sidewinder FFB stick. I got mine off ebay years ago, and it's still kicking. Like Jay said, have a look at the used marketplace. You'd be surprised what's still for sale there.
January 6, 201214 yr Commercial Member I feel your pain, man. This has been exactly my experience with trying to find a decent joystick.
January 6, 201214 yr Check out the Logitech joystick that looks like an update on the MS FFB stick at Amazon for about $30. You can always return stuff for no good reason to Amazon if you don't like ti. I use it along side my yoke and it works just fine.Ray When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .
