I guess MS Flight is the only thing left to watch out for...

It is no secret that there is no evidence of these features in the beta. You can verify this for yourself. The poster I replied to claimed that there is evidence that we have all elements for a simulation. Now you jump into this, so what secret information do YOU have that these features are in the final product.I have plenty of evidence that the lack of information on certain features from MS means the lack of these features. What do you have?
An early beta is hardly evidence of anything, you are just sturring up trouble like alot of others here, gl with that. You want it all in one package, not going to happen. So this product is not for you, maybe you should stay in the FSX forum with your negativity. This is what i have from the horses mouth."The new “Microsoft Flight” retains the full fidelity simulation longtime fans have come to expect while offering all players a whole new look and feel, a wide range of new game play and challenges, persistent experiences and social connectivity".You have no evidence of anything else, nada, zippo, zero.

I wish a spokesman for Flight would make a post to clear the fog. Speculation is like trying to tell someone what the color red tastes like. No one really knows unless the product is tried after the finishing touches are made. Flight may end up being fantastic, or a fantastic failure. I take pot shot guesses but no hard core basis for my posts except vague speculation. My speculations hold as much water as a bucket full of holes. We are the judge and jury. The man on trial has yet to speak and provide more evidence for his case. It is a wait and see situation. Until then, speculation on the winning horse is human nature. Speculation is not bad as long as it is kept in the arena of educated guesses, and not stated as fact. That way we can banter and see who had the best guess when the box is opened. The fun part is doing this in a civil way and sharing ideas. By this time next year, we will be onto something else.

Perhaps you need to spend a little more time reading the forums here and elsewhere. We have far better information than what was put into that FAQ a year ago. Obviously you are not up to date on what Orbx and PMDG developers had to say on the matter and perhaps you did not see the beta footage. And it's not an early beta either, not if the spring release is to be met...oh did you read the press release from MS on that matter?Anyhow, I am not here to stir up trouble like you, because my tone was nothing like yours. Just because you are ignorant of the latest developments does not make you an authority on what I know.

Whatever, personally I am not willing to trade 99% of the world, all third party addons, ATC and my self respect for few good looking islands in arcade game Microsoft Flight.
FSX (released 2006) = approximately 100$.Flight (released 2012) = 0 $ -----> + 99% of the world, ATC, jets, helicopter, etc. = approximately 100$.You prefer to buy a pre-pack, instead of the freedom to choose what you want?

This is pure conjecture. No announcement about world coverage size.No announcement about availability of ATC, jets, helicopter etc.No announcement about prices. No freedom to choose if the DLC you want does not exist in Flight even though it was part of FSX.

Link ?

All that has been released so far is an initial version (call it beta if you like) of the free basic version of Flight. As far as I am aware, none of the DLC has been released publically. Until it is, most of these threads and posts remain uniformed speculation.

No announcement about Flight release date. Means .....? No Flight?
No freedom to choose if the DLC you want does not exist in Flight even though it was part of FSX.
That's correct. Even today I can't buy preferred addons for FSX that "does not exist".

And again, i urge anyone who hasn't read ms's press release right when beta started to go read it. When the beta became available and all could see that it is Hawai only e.t.c (cause leaks happen), ms gave a press release that stated how Flight would not include global coverage but smaller and more detailed areas e.t.c. Now these are facts.

I left out your reference to release in 2012, because there was such a reference made by MS for a Spring release. However, you do have a point, without a release date, this is still up in the air and will be until the game is actually released. As for your second statement above, you are grasping at straws by stating the obvious and has nothing to do with what I said.

Where is the link to this 2nd press release from Microsoft. The last on on MS's Flight website is from Jan 4th.
