Omg, fed with these kind of posts that the NGX is so good. The fact that it's a masterpiece is really old news....

Did it ever occur to you that no matter how long you've had the NGX, some people are just getting for the first time, and they feel the same way you must have felt when you saw it the first time, and that as long as the NGX 'lives' there's gonna continue to be first timers?

I really hope 6 months isn't "old" for a product that took us 3+ years to make... Did I miss something else out there equaling or surpassing it already?I really don't want to see someone happy with our products attacked here again - I don't care if it's a joke, it comes off really badly and it'll be dealt with harshly if I see it again.

Welcome on board,Adam.I guarantee you that you will have at least 6 months solid enjoyment out of her.I've been flying it pretty much every day since Aug 5th (release day),and only now,am starting to wean myself off it by flying the MD-11.

I concur. I recently returned in Dec after a two-year FS break. To my suprise the NGX was ready and waiting for me (also upgraded to FSX). I can't say enough good things about her. It is indescribably well done, incredibly detailed and feature rich. Everything just works, I have not encountered any errors or bugs so far. I'm over 50 hours of flight time already, it's just so much fun to fly. I love hand-flying departures and approaches, nice, smooth and responsive. And of course, the detailed systems are unmatched. The NGX is hands-down the best add-on I have ever owned. The team deserves a *huge* pat on the back. Thanks guys! :(
