January 28, 201214 yr Looks very nice on the screenshots. I don't have that many amphibian planes, so maybe it's worth a try.Nice one, that's the F1 installer, right? So there's a money back policy in place. Edited January 28, 201214 yr by CoolP
January 28, 201214 yr It's a very much different experience from what you are used to fly and e.g. the visibility from the VC is really great. My favourite writer Richard Bach wrote a story about how he, rather unexpected, started loving the Seabee after some time.It happened to me as well during the FDE development. It's the easiest plane to take-off I've seen. Tail comes up on its own, and she unsticks on her own as well. You don't need to touch the yoke during take off.Landing on the other hand is a lot different. You can even taxi backwards on ground, but you need a lot of throttle to get her moving.
January 28, 201214 yr Ah, now I see it in your signature. Bernt, the time will come that listing the planes you didn't have your hands on is shorter. :(
January 28, 201214 yr Bernt, the time will come that listing the planes you didn't have your hands on is shorter. Good point. As it's no secret or surprise anymore I should add the 208 ASAP :( Edited January 28, 201214 yr by bstolle

January 28, 201214 yr Love this A/C. Anyone have some input? My only seaplane experience is in a Seabee. Pilots love this plane. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
January 28, 201214 yr Bernt, my friend - you are becoming the "Bojote of FDE's"!Thanks you for your great work: it makes choosing an aircraft that much easier.I completely echo these sentiments. Bernt's work is outstanding. I am always excited to buy a plane if it has his name on it.Thanks for everything you've done Mr. Stolle! :( Tired of Streetlights everywhere? Try MSFS DarkStreets today!

January 29, 201214 yr One thing that i guess orives a lot: repaints are already popping up for the Seabee on OZx, and by master Jankees himself. Bryan K.Ottawa, CanadaCurrent virtual hangar: Flight1 BN2 Islander, A2A C182, A2A C172, Aerosoft Twin Otter Extended
January 29, 201214 yr Commercial Member Thanks for the great feedback on the Seabee! I really hope everyone enjoys flying it! As for repaints, you will be seeing quite a lot from Jankees, and also OleBoy. I invited them into the beta program early on to help me flesh out the paint kit, and they really did an outstanding job with it! Youll also be seeing more repaints from us at KCFS posted soon. January 29, 201214 yr I bought the Seabee yesterday. I haven't had much time to fly it yet, but from a quick look around and test flight, it seems to be very well done and I am looking forward to spending a lot more time with the plane. The textures are beautiful. There are a lot of small functional details built into the plane. When you apply the parking brake in the water, it drops an anchor line. I'm liking what I'm seeing a lot. Lose not thine airspeed, lest the ground rise up and smite thee.
January 30, 201214 yr I purchased the Seabee earlier today and after flying her for a bit...WOW, what a treat. If you want the PERFECT aircraft for curising around PNW (or whatever ORBX sceeries you have) than look no further. The model, sound, and FDE (never flown a real one but it feels nice) are great! The price is excellent as well.
