I don't think I ever downloaded the drivers, I don't use the mode changer anyway and all the rest works just as well without them.

I couldn't manage without FSUIPC, especially now that I discovered the new (well, new to me) way of setting up different profiles for different ariplanes. I use two Saitek throttle units - in other words six axis - and have two levers assigned as reverse thrust. But when I fly the queen I have four levers for throttles and reverse is then handled by the button position of the levers. Once set up and assigned to the appropriate airplane, I can forget it - FSUIPC handles it beautifully thereafter.

I already posted a thread over in the hardware forum, but if any Saitek users here have the big black throttle handle (the one that fits 4 throttle levers) for their throttle quad, I need an extra one.Saitek won't send me one or even sell me an extra. If anyone is willing, I'll cover all the shipping costs through paypal. I'm in Quebec, Canada.

I think I have one, but I'm in Houston working a refinery turnaround for the next 6-7 weeks. Send me a PM & maybe I can figure out a way to get it to you.

OK, now I've gone and done it. Looking at the pictures caused me to order another quadrant in order to have a two engine and four engine profile. So until I get the quadrant I am putting the FSUICP programing on hold. Downloaded teh user guide and will be reading it while waiting.

Slightly OT, but what is the point? I mean, if you already have 4 throttle axis, why not use them separately to allow for proper operation?

I have two throttle quads, and one has more wear and tear then the other. The levers in the older one don't move the throttles in FSX at the same rate as the newer quad, so I get uneven thrust.I have all engines on one lever, but I need a bigger handle.

So use FSUIPC to make them all match. You can set points so they match. Also you can use it to say allow the first part of the travel to be on/off in the ARM and the rest for the actual manual deployment which you then still retain the ability to use them as intended.

Tried that already, they still went out of alignment. I tried putting deadzones through the Saitek profiler, and even if they moved perfectly at the beginning of a flight, at the end they would be out of sync again.Trust me I tried everything.I'm happy with 1 throttle lever, because now I'm using the extra lever as a steering tiller. Works great!

Read one article where this guy glued plastic "Drink Box" staws across the lever slot at the appropriate spots and then snipped through the middle of each straw with scissors. He said it works well and even makes a clicking sound as you pull the lever through the straws.
I would love to see this article. Was there pictures of how he did it.
The plastik straws sounds like something I need to try - maybe for flap positions aswell? hmmm...
I'm with you on this one. I would love to put some notches in my quadrants for some flaps.

I was the guy posting about the drinking straws off juice cartons... I use them for a single "gate" at the "spoilers armed" position, and several "gates" on the flap lever. It does work, but you need to use extreme caution attaching them to avoid gumming up the works.also, you might want to take a look at this....http://flightsimpm.webs.com/apps/webstore/products/show/2903922

That link doesn't even look professional. The guy says contact him on a yahoo email for details on how to buy this? And it's almost 40 dollars? And I can't find any pictures showing the actual modification?Doesn't seem legit to me.
