February 22, 201214 yr New shots after some tweaks. Getting 50-90 FPS using PMDG 747-800/737NGX ,REX2/OD,FTX, AEROSOFT Airports. I've never had FSX look so good!Two main tweaks and thats about it. *******'s FSX.CFG. tweak, Affinity mask =14 so all 4 cores run in FSX, Bufferpools 25000000, Max texture load 4096, and set my paging file to 9154. All sliders set to max including air traffic the only ones not are GA traffic,road, and ships those three are at 25% but all others set to max. Still sticking and rocking with FS9. February 22, 201214 yr I would love to give this a try, How do you do it?Well it's kind of a long process but it is usually done with a copy of photoshop with nvidia dds plugin. All you basically have to do is open almost* every texture file and re-save it as a DXT5 mip mapped texture.

Thanks!Here is the link for ******* tweak - http://www.venetubo.com/fsx.html First make a backup copy of your fsx cfg. file then follow the instructions at his site send your fsxcfg. file it will automatically tweak your cfg. and you can then download the new file it will install it to fsx. done. the affinity mask is a number, for a four core processor try 14 that is what i use it aloows fsx to use all of your cores instead of just one. fsx will run on one your add-ons will run on another your scenery will run on the other and one is always dedicated to windows. I had already done this but I think the ******* tweak might do this as well.What's the deal with your paging file?
