From the video's I've seen posted on YouTube I have to say I'm disappointed. Clearly aimed at a completely different market to us. Hopefully it will encourage users to migrate to FSX. If it does, then it's worthwhile. I won't be be downloading it.

Have you spent any time reading and understanding AVSIM's position on FLIGHT and any of the other two dozen or so flight sims out there? Does our position matter to you? I doubt it. Read the previous postings we and many others have made and then come back and let's talk.

Why ask a question that you must know is going to backfire on you? Just don't waste time reading the forum if it bothers you that much.

I don't get all these posts.It's been my impression that this forum is for all software products which simulate virtual flight. FSX is one, X-Plane is one, Prepar3D is one and Flight is one.These posts are the same as going over into the X-Plane subforum and saying "X-Plane is crap". The FSX subforum, the FS9 subforum, the X-Plane subforum, etc, is still there. If you don't like Flight, you don't have to be here. Other's want to give it a chance and want to use this subforum to discuss technical issues and experiences with the software. I understand peoples dissappointment, but nothing you do or say here will make Microsoft change their plans, all it's doing is cluttering the forum up.

I do understand people's frustration with all this. I even have to admit that when I first read about Flight I was very excited but as the months went on I became disappointed. As I said above, if the only thing that comes out of this is that we gain more FSX simmers then as far as I'm concerned that's a win win situation and even, perhaps, more of a reason for an FSX SP3?

I don't like FLIGHT but Im actually glad it is some what promoted here at AVSIM, it may draw new blood into our weird little world of flight simulation, and that can only be positive for our hobby.
