The admins here seem to like to play whack-a-mole with the people who post negative thoughts and some of them are clearly biased on the positive side, so it makes it far harder to remain civil for people on the critical side.

Negative thoughts and opinions are okay.... How many times do we have to say it??? Posts that are clearly intended to do no more than provoke and / or which constitute a personal attack, are not acceptable and will be dealt with quickly. Is that clear enough?

Oh dear, I seem to have "outted myself." Seriously though, Arnie paid me very, very well for my work, and funnily enough I do so enjoy being able to pay my bills on time as well as eating somewhat regularly.

I guess my negative view of some of the admin actions on this forum got this reply. I made no personal attacks, nor provoked anyone with my post above. It was a statement of my view, where I have seen people treated differently because of which side of the argument they happened to be.Clearly, AVSIM wants this forum to be a happy place and that in itself is a bias. If MS Flight receives criticism for what it is or for what it sold itself to be, it should be fair game.The fact is that there is a positive bias towards Flight in here. It makes it difficult to get the real picture of the product when there are so many industry insiders posting their personal views, backed up by also being an administrator.So I am not bashing anyone, however, this would be a happier place if the forum admins would have a more neutral tone to some of their posts.

We too are simmers. We have a bias. We want as many toys in our toy box as we can get. A truly hideous hidden agenda don't ya think? You are free to have any opinion you want. You are free to post that opinion (but if you are going spout "facts", have the courtesy to back up your "facts" or be prepared to get justly ridiculed). Tread into personal or gratuitous attacks and you are probably going to be shown the door.
