I was doing an awesome hamburger job, cruising along nicely in my RV6 and then I suddenly noticed something... I was shocked... Blurries... I almost cried. I flew over a city and I noticed it didn't look to good and while flying over it I could see the textures loading. It didn't take long before the blurries were gone but they were there and they were obvious.Ok, I am running with the settings maxed out but I have a i5 2500K @ 4.5 and a GTX580... I really honestly thought blurries were a thing of the past when it comes to MS Flight. But it's not. They are there. Waiting to spoil my mood. And that without AI, heavy weather or anything else that could bring performance down. BTW Performance was great and smooth, no problems there, but what will happen when we get more (and heavier) DLC?Bummer. Darned. Shoot.

Could another process have kicked on in the background, such as a virus scan?

I have them too, and stutters. Not as bad as FSX, but Flight is a child of the ESP engine no doubt...

i could really go for a $100 hamburger right now, i'm hungry :LMAO: I'm a little worried that Microsoft thinks that hamburgers cost $100 in Hawaii, can you imagine how they will price DLC for Flight, lol.
On the off-chance that you (or someone reading this) wasn't already aware, most of the $100 for the $100 hamburger comes from the cost of flying the plane. Wikipedia even has a page on it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/$100_hamburger

Ok, so... it's a bug...? Setting a lower setting will obviously help  but at a cost I was hoping not to pay...

I thought so too, but then when I tried Flight I came to realize that the one thing I really hated about FSX (bluries) was indeed in Flight too. I also experienced some stutters. This only confirms that Flight's core engine, is the same one used in FSX, but only optimized to some extent.

Stutters yesterday with icon, my system i970 6 core @3.8 nvidia 560. Was suprised, running at high on all settings. No blurries . I do love Flight. I fly low and slow and was a beta boy.

I got some tiny amount of blurries too when flying low and fast, but they resolved quickly (much quicker than in FSX)."Gamers" are going to have a hard time accepting Flight's archaic graphics. Here's an actual screenshot of a flight scene from Battlefield 3 for comparison.http://www.ign.com/images/games/battlefield-3-ps3-82317/3525772

When I first installed Flight I was limited to High scenery settings, because my boot was set with a USERVA=2816 (Which I use for FSX) and had no blurries, but I wasn't too impressed with the scenery. After reading the AVSIM review that it needed the whole 3GB I created a boot profile with USERVA=3072. This allowed me to set scenery at Max, and I have to say, it makes a big difference in it's quality. I did however begin to see the blurry issue show it's ugly head. As stated above not as bad as FSX but still noticeable. What surprising is this is with slow moving aircraft, even in FSX I don't see blurries flying slow. Hopefully this is just a bug or can be fixed with an adjustment to the CFG file. (So much for no tweaking )
